brake clean is your friend to get oil off, worked at a bmw dealer for 4 years and its all we used.....well simple green sometimes, just try not to inhale and keep off paint =)
Great vid. Just did my 959 panigale, but had to use needle-nose pliers to remove the filter cap. Any chance you know what size those larger bolts you used to pull off the cap? Thanks in advance
Bro, Great video...I've been waiting for someone to post a quality video on how to do this....The dealership will hate you for this but I thank you! Can you make a video on how to replace the air filter and possible the damn spark plugs?
Thanks for posting. This is a super helpful video. I am going to do my first few oil changes in my 959 myself because the shop wants $350 for the first service.
Man, this was a great video! Part of my decision to purchase my first Ducati (looking at the 959) is how easy basic maintenance is or is not. This helped quite a bit. Thank you. You have a new subscriber.
Just an incredible job and straight up to the point. Top notch & informative. Thanks a lot!
I taped aluminum foil onto the exhaust to keep the oil from draining onto the bike, keeps the bike cleaner and you don't smell oil later.
Awesome I just bought my Panigale 3 months ago I need to do the oil change thanks for the video awesome details on how to do it

Just did my first oil change on my 899. I used M8 X 50 1.25 pitch bolts to remove the filter cover for those who are wondering.
John Chapdelaine where did you buy them from? Thanks
I got them at my local hardware store, but Home Depot or Lowes should also carry them.
Never had a $250 oil change until I bought a Ducati! Thnx for great video!
I know! it's pricy. I make a living of this but I like to put a freebie out for my peeps. Hope the video helped you out.

Ha, they wanted $350 for mine in Colorado. The prices are nutty, but the ride is totally worth it!
