- Hello and welcome to Episode 1 of my Greenhouse Diaries.
I'm hoping to publish a video every Tuesday just recapping what I've been up to in the garden lately and also to tell you what I've got coming up over the coming weeks.
I'll try to always keep it brief and there'll be no fancy editing (no zooming transitions, no fading in and out, and no music either), just me and you and a bit of chat!

Aw thanks. Wasn't so sure about the 'Uncut' version at first. But I think I'll stick with it for my Greenhouse Diaries series. Hoping to sow my pea seeds this coming weekend PLUS there is an Incredible Edible gathering locally in Sunday where there'll be a Seed Swap so hopefully I can swap my First Early spuds for some carrots 🥕.
Swiss Chard is also a beautiful plant . I used it as a centerpiece in a garden a few years back
Oh wow. I've never grown it before (not even sure I've ever eaten it either) so it should be fun!
Great greenhouse and fantastic raised beds, their height must make them so much easier to use! Looking forward to see if you manage to grow some conkers seedlings!! I can just see that before long you will have more beds on your grass! 😄👍💕🌸

Hey bro, I like the raw uncut version as well. A mix of both will be nice. Sometimes it's just fun to grow things even if we dont need them. Let me know how the conkers grow. I'm tempted to plant an avocado seed and see what grows!
Yeah! An avocado seed would be so much fun! I might post you a sprouting conker or two - we could do a grow along.

I enjoy the raw videos, I do not know how to edit so what you see is what you get.
It looks like you have a lot of slabbed areas, why don't you get some 30ltr tubs and grow your potatoes in them.

Hey Rob. I have been thinking of getting some tubs. 30lt tubs sounds like a good idea as yes, I do have quite a lot of paved area. Inherited it from the previous home owner.

Ps, I love what’s happened with the conkers. A lady once told me you can bonsai any kind of tree, that would be interesting to try. Don’t know if that’s absolutely right but it’ll be fun potting them up anyway 😬

I tried to plant a conker tree but nothing happened. I might try leaving them in a bag next time 😂
It's a pure accident that they've germinated 😂. I must have passed them 100 times since they were out next to the bin. They were meant to be thrown away 😂.

Thank for the feedback. I'm hoping to do one weekend video (with editing and music) and one 'Uncut' video every Tuesday evening recapping on what I've done recently, how the overall plot is progressing and what my plans are for the next week or so.
