Sadly I'm cutting out the Naturalist part of the video since Rockstar copyrighted it. And I don't want my entire video getting copyrighted for a 30 second clip. So if you notice a weird gap between Rockstar not fixing bugs and the bounty hunter update thats why. To sum up that part though Rockstar didn't properly update the game for 7 months then randomly added the Naturalist role as an update. Which most players including myself found dissapointing. Hopefully you guys can understand why I'm deciding to remove it and most importantly can still enjoy the video without it

They haven’t bothered in two years now to fix the moonshiner roles bootleg missions from being stuck on kill remaining enemies… you can literally sit there all day. Then leave in five seconds you failed. I’ve only been able to complete like one or two… so I can’t get any bonuses for doing them.

The biggest problem with RDO is that it was never "at it's prime" or has "peaked". During it's entire lifespan it was always "getting there" with rockstar not knowing how to handle it. Even after all the updates the game was still mostly empty. Where are the properties and heists? GTAO was only really complete after the heist update. Which took them years. Rockstar doesn't know how to handle any online mode.

Bro I'm sitting here looking thru comments and you took the words right out of my mouth. I'm sitting here mad as shit just thinking the lack of old west games. RDR2 releases and its a masterpiece. With all the content in the story mode, expectations are high from the jump, But when it launched in a beta I knew it was gonna be trouble. I didnt play it till sometime in the pandemic. It was a load of fun with my buddies, but after completing all the legendary bounties and buying mostly everything in the store, I didnt feel the need to play it again. But just thinking of if they just added actual content to the game and didnt stop, I probably would never stop playing it.

The 3 jewel robberies we got shouldve had a similar overlay to GTA5 heists with planning/prepping all that stuff, much better pays, more AI. Perhaps with even a collector stand of the 3 jewels in your moonshiner shack. Would've been much cooler less dissapointing.

Because they make more on gtao, so they didn't bother with any single player dlc for gta 5 or rdr2, when rdo didnt make enough money they killed it and when gta6 comes out they'll kill either gtao or the gtao2 or whatever they call gta6 online depending on which makes less money. They don't care about delivering a good experience they care about milking as much money out of wage slaves as possible.

For me, the biggest problem is not finishing what was started, online has a lot of features that should have been put in story mode. Small stuff like removing the secondary holsters, but looking back the story mode wasn’t even done yet, there should’ve been an update, let us go back to Guarma, put in deleted content. Then put in the good things from Online. I didn’t play online much, but when I did, I couldn’t have fun because you couldn’t achieve anything. I only played the game because; “Wow! Full fledged gun spinning? That’s awesome!” Then I got it and I never played again because I couldn’t even do it as Arthur so who cares.

    • @ItsAnomal
      @ItsAnomal  ปีที่แล้ว +14

It's so fun to play with my friends but after a while it's so easy to lose interest because of how lackluster the missions are compared to the main story. I first started playing rdr2 maybe 7 or 6 months ago and I absolutely loved the story. When I first got into rdo soon after I struggled so much to the point where I just decided to drop 5 or 10 dollars for some gold bars so I could get a bounty license and some drip. I started having fun just doing bounties so I could get more money for clothes and guns but the world felt so empty and underdeveloped compared to how it is in the story. Most towns were filled with griefers and my game would crash a lot, and I play on a ps5. I think I’m around level 40 now but I haven’t played in a couple months because I was tired of grinding trader. I really wanted to get a bounty wagon and some more gun tricks but I guess I have to get the bs advanced bounty license or whatever it is

    • @justsomeguy5103

The prestigious bounty hunter licence is not required for the bounty wagon. It unlocks for purchase at level 10 of the regular bounty hunter role.
This part of the monetization seems to be pretty similar between RDO and GTAO. Most content has has steep paywalls that require a lot of grinding through the low payout content available to new players, tempting them to drop real money in order to "get started".

I've only started playing RDO because my cousin wanted someone to play with. Also I've gotten every single story achievement and all that's left are online ones...
It was utter disappointment. I ran into bugs the very first day I started playing. One of the most infuriating bugs was the stable glitch. For some players going into the stables at all can softlock your game. You have to restart completely.
I tried call to Arms. Incredible amount of bugs. Either the enemies would stop spawning all together, or only 2 at a time on my teamate every 15s. Only one that seemed to work for me was Fort Mercer.
I don't mind the gameplay. It's just the bugs that kill me. And I've only explored a handful of the game too. Imagine all the bugs I haven't had simply because I haven't explored. For a 5 year old game, you'd think important bugs would be fixed. Guess not.
edit: new bugs found. There's a bug with the wilderness camp where you'll get stuck in an infinite loading screen when using sometimes.
There's a bug with the legendary animal missions in naturalist where you are spawned in and can hear people, ambience, etc. but an infinite loading screen is overlaying that. I had to pull up the menu and navigate it blindy to online and rejoin a different session...
There's a bug when selling and delivering goods where the rest of the raiders won't spawn...

    • @beelzebuth2479
      @beelzebuth2479 ปีที่แล้ว +2

They gave up, if anything they just added new bugs on top of the old ones, never took time to correct them or even acknowledge they exist.

Difference being that John liked that kind of life, Jack was more like a scholar, but dragged into it by betrayal/revenge. Will be interesting to see what they do with RDR3, though I think going further back would probably be cooler for the gameplay. Make it at the peak of gunslingers, let you have a little gang, let you choose who to bring on missions and where to rob etc. Would be hard to make the story as cool as the first 2, but I also didn't think they could improve on RDR and they 10000x it with RDR2 I can hope.

What really killed RDO for me, is on PC it is riddled with hackers that will just blow up the server over and over again, or spawn legendary animal pelts so people can just unlock all the special outfits with Gus. After my 5th trader wagon was blown up, I had it, wrote a ticket about it to RS and never heard anything back... Really broke my heart because I was a day one loyal player.

It's just sad man, because you know we're not getting another Read Dead game for a very long time. It took them over 8 years to make Read Dead 2, so this is all we have now. It's even worse when you remember that GTA Online started out the same way, very little content, no heists, and not much to spend your money on. Then we finally got heists about 2 years after release, which completely revitalized the game and made it way more popular.
If the same happened to Red Dead Online, I'm sure the story would've been similar, maybe on a smaller scale, but still better than what we got. Ultimately, the downfall of Red Dead Online came from there being not enough properties, weapons, clothes, or vehicles to spend your money on.

Really sucks the way it actually went, cuz I was so invested in it even though it was grindy as f*ck and pretty shallow. I believed they were going to make it better with time. How hard is it to put say for example houses in the game? Just reuse the assets and buildings already in the game, give them an interior and customization and boom, that’s an update. It makes me actually sad, im a hard working blue colar man, i enjoyed that story so much cause Arthur is everything i aspire to be, and just looking at what they've done to this game, it saddens me deeply, there is some real quality here, it's got so much to offer, its more fun than gtav online with only one sixth of the content.

When the official online mode dropped away two years before I tried it. And after that two years I saw all the potential that was still being wasted, I knew that after a few months if they didn't make it any better then all hope is gone. If it's starting off with the same issues as GTA online did and they still haven't learned your lesson from that, then there's no hope in this game at all. And sure enough update news after update news after update news just gave me less and less and less hope for the game.
The final nail in the coffin for me was when I was posting to read it on one of the RTR communities of a capitale glitch. The capitale reward was right in front of me but I couldn't pick it up. There was no button icon. It would tell me to pick it up when I would stand over it. But no matter how many times I would hold, press, Nash, or whatever the heck x and my controller and every other button on the controller, my character just refuse to interact with it. It was getting to the point where I just was wondering if I was pressing the wrong button or button combination.
I didn't know whether or not it was a glitch at first. I felt so dumbfounded that I feel like I literally needed to look up a tutorial on how to pick shit up. Sure nuff when I looked it up it's literally just hold fucking X. And apparently I wasn't the only one having this issue, but not too many people had video footage of it.
Of course I was at the time, now more people might have footage of them having this issue. And I'm glad it's out there. But for me when I was trying to figure out what was when wrong I found out more people having this issue in other separate platform forums, and comment sections of capitale related videos.
Besides myself that I know of, nobody at the time seemed to have any footage of them having this witch and fixing it. Seem to be the only solution Westchester starting your game. And hopefully it didn't happen again.
Thankfully it did not. But the hate, harassment and bombardment that I got from the RDR community over pointed out a glitch that prevented me from finishing this mission, a glitch no doubt that should have been fixed by then since it's been two years since the official multiplayer dropped nevermind the beta.
It pissed me the fuck off. Where to get mad at me because I'm a? Of course I'm fucking mad! I just finished this whole mission and I can't even pick up my fucking reward. And it's an issue that should not be an issue at all after 2 years of the multiplayer being released after a fucking beta. There is no excuse for that whatsoever. None. Fucking none.
But you had all these fucking corporate goons getting mad at me that I talk down about Big Daddy Rockstar. Well I'm sorry I didn't praise how big their dick was while it was shoved three fucking yards up my fucking ass.
You want to ride it like that you're on a goddamn fucking burright? Go for it. To answer your fucking ass is swollen & your own intestines are hanging out of your asshole.
Ifucking had it with phantoms, every last goddamn fucking what if you from rdr2 GTA to fucking marvel to every single last goddamn one of you. Call of duty, battlefield, fucking all of you.
Fuck every last goddamn one if you and your fucking fandoms. I'll fucking fed up with this shit. This is why I always enjoy it on my own time cuz trying to share with anybody else apparently is fucking taboo and I know no. Everybody got a fucking problem with it.
Can't do that cuz all that fucking corporate dickriding is a long enough to do whatever they fuck they want and get away with all this bullshit. Some of you motherfuckers are part of the problem do you know it's answer butts or what's. You're part of the fucking problem.
If you're fucking asshole break and get off that fucking dick and stop bouncing already! Keep it up and eventually you're not going to be able to shit straight.

I remember growing up being towed connecting with people VI your favorite game or so or whatever used to be a great idea. It apparently it's just a horrible way to get you belittled for no fucking reason.
If anything it's probably healthier nowadays as socially isolate yourself from everybody else and be an absolute anti social reject. Don't speak to anyone, don't look in your general direction, if you need help, the best advice is to not ask anyone for advice. Never feel bad about being alone, cuz people will always find a way to make you feel worse. If you ever feel the need to share something with somebody, don't cuz nothing about it it's worth it. Absolutely no fun or communication or friendship or anything other than negativity will come out of it.
I remind myself this every time I even think about being social and I don't. And when I don't be social I'm somehow happier than if I was.
I never thought the day would come with being antisocial what's healthier than socializing. I wish somebody taught me this growing up instead of the opposite. It would have saved me so much time, effort, and headaches. And most importantly, never ever ever it's rack with any fandom. They're all shifts. There's no such thing as bad apples, they are all shit. You could be a fan without being part of a fandom by the way. But they're all. I remind myself this everyday and it keeps me from making the same mistake again. Like remembering how bad your finger burns when when you make the dumb decision as a child to touch a hot iron. The big problem that Rockstar doesn't realize that they have created by how they treated Red Dead Redemption 2 is that people are not going to have faith in any future project that isn't GTA. They can't support any online multiplayer that isn't GTA, and they showed us this. Bully 2, RDR3, whatever else-- it doesn't matter. Everyone's going to remember how little they supported one of their most acclaimed game that wasn't GTA. If Rockstar rebalanced the economy and added another role that focues on the story I believe this game can get one last hoorah. Probably won't happen at this rate but it's nice to think about. Some things I came up with are: Dailies are buffed, bring back Outlaw Passes, make things more expensive/cheaper, rework mission rewards to give you more based off effort, and rework how some roles work and reward you, perhaps expanding them to 50 tiers each.
