@@AngrySnowboarder thats a pitty. Currently i run Evil Twin as my one quicer board, but i want to switch to butter board (wallie or disaster plus) and a second fr/grommer. You point of view wuld help a lot comparing those two, especially weight, pop and flex.
Is the Disaster or Disaster+ better for all mountain? I'm looking for a 146cm-148cm board that can be used all mountain, but focuses slightly more on park. Recommendations?

I snapped my Wallie and was looking to replace it with something a little stiffer but still fulfilling the jib board role. I’m curious how much stiffer people would say this is compared to the Wallie as they are both rated 3 by bataleon. I’m ready to be jibbing with a popier board but bataleons higher camber and stiffer boards all feature the medium base 3bt and idk if I can give up the wide base 3bt for those sweet presses.

Agree with the review. I used this in Japan Feb 2024, had a few powder days, not too deep. Handled a lot of terrain and some pow but obviously not an all terrain board so don't buy it for that. I was happy cruising around on it but a little sketchy at 80km/h. I'm 6'3 and 105kgs and rode the 156W
Would you recommend this for an all-mountain rider that dosent really do boxes/rails, but wants a soft board for butters/flat tricks on the mellow slopes? Or is there something else that would be better for that, where you wont compromise so much on being able to carve and speed?
hey mate, i have the same demands as you. so far i think the whatever is best for this. its a bit stiffer and can handle speed / powder / carving better. it is still more on the soft side and with the raised edges makes buttering easy. its not the fastest and a good all mountain apparently
Is this the board for warmer days and just play? I was hoping this would be a mellower version of the Evil Twin and just a great butter board to thrash around on
I spend most of my time anymore in west village (Kokomo & Union Creek) with the kids. Looking to add a deck to the quiver I can throw around and have fun on the flats that doesn't beat me up. I'm between this, a disaster, evil twin, and a Kilroy. Think it's it worth getting the +? I'm a 5'10' 185# middle aged former advanced/expert that does still enjoy straight airs and low consequence rails. Note: I have a free and deep thinker for kidless days.
You should show us your skills on a snowboard cause my opinion on this board is completely different from yours. I’ve launched this thing over huge tables in mammoth, bombed double black diamonds and road some good powder on this board and it performed extremely well.
Some days I want a disaster strictly for buttering, but then I have to remind myself I’m never going to spend an entire day doing that ahaha

You're too heavy for the board. Makes it even worse in chop and deep snow
@Fleijah Depends how you ride it. I just got it for buttering and rails. It's not a noodle so it handled my weight ok.

Just ordered this one, just to butter and hit small features in the park. For bigger stuff I keep my Bottle Rocket.

It's a softer twin park board.

If your Freethinker is beating you up on the flats might I suggest not getting something with camber then?
