Bro! Best review out there! I was going to buy a wallie but after you said this one it’s more stable that’s all I need! I own a Boss and magic carpet! Boss to stiff good for speed magic carpet love it was learning butter tricks with it but it’s too scooped hard to ride on groomers so I think the disaster it’s the sweet spot!
Got the 2022 model in 153w, honestly, I love this board. It's not crazy noodle at all, be like after 30 sec in boiling water noodle, not ready to eat but u could if u were hungry enough, still has some crunch
I literally just posted on Avran's review of the Jones Mountain twin, looking for a noodle-ish type of board but not an all out noodle. Seems like the board I am in search of!
This looks sick. One of the only Bataleon boards I somehow didn't know about (they have so many). Now if only any shops still had stock... next season purchase I guess
I have a stinky old version that's preowned and P-Texed to shits and I absolutely love it. It's been ridden hard and is as soft as a brown banana and slipps out if I land back heavy but its just so much fun! The board is in it's prime when it's been treated like shit for years.
I’m between the disaster or the global warmer Which would handle better from the park to still out on the mountain all around? Also which one is softer flex ?
Hey Avran, I'm deciding between the disaster and the fun kink. Coming off of a beginner board, looking for something that I can grow into and progress on. My main focus is going to be learning some flat ground and butter tricks with some side hits in there as well and eventually start hitting some easy park features. Also want a board that can go down any groomer, and do some moderate speed carving. Which one would you recommend?
Thank u for the review, was very helpful! Which one you think is better as an all around freestyle board? indoor survival, evil twin or the disaster? (sorry for my mediocre english. Greetings from Chile!)
Really digging the 2023 disaster. Can’t find any 151 in stock (which in my head sounds good) but do you think a 154 would be solid? 5’9 - 145ish lbs - 9.5 boots.
I’m trying to help my friend that’s new find an affordable first board. He’s been 4 times this season and he’s picking it up very well. Found a great price on this model and I was wondering if it would be an okay pick for him since it’s soft and catch free.
I wish my feet would fit in the non wide version of this😢 I don’t weigh enough to get the full flex out of the wide (130lbs) but my feet are too big for the regular one (10.5 size large bindings). What would you say is the smallest waist width I can get away with for a dedicated park board?
Who cares about the waist it's the insert width that matters. Take the tip/tail width and subtract the waist width, divide that number by 2, add that number to the waist width and roughly not account for sidecut or grip technology is the width.
Hey there trying to decide between the 153W vs The 156W for this board I’m 15 years old. 5 11 145 size 11. Planning on only riding park 70 percent medium jumps 30 percent rails
