I never liked the plotline of JT getting killed because it seemed like too much tragedy for one group of students at one high school in a safe city like Toronto. I was like, this is NOT believable. BUT the scene where he is stabbed is so heart-wrenching and visceral. I could feel the wound. IT kills ME.
I loved Degrassi. But sometimes tv shows are best when they end at the right time. Like Seinfeld or Friends which lasted a good 9 and 10 seasons, respectivelly.

Actually, I think it lasted too long. It should have ended at around season 11.
