This album is criminally underrated! The years I become older I better prefer The soft parade as like Waiting for the sun. This album has a soul. Tell all the people says more than every words.. Shaman's blues...wild child...wishful sinful...the soft parade...complete collection of music from the soul... Unfortunately most people misunderstood this album and until today always the last place on The doors albums ranking.. Great album. Should be more appreciated!

Brauche von jim Morrison hat ein großes und dickes Buch vor Jahren konnte man sich das kaufen. Leider nur in Englisch. Und bald hat jim Morrison am 8 Dezember auf einen Freitag. Seine Musse ist 4jahre später in Dezember gestorben. Die Pam seine Frau hatte was mit seinem Tod was zutun gehabt. Aufjeden Fall. Ich 43jahre viel gefeiert wurde oft Ausgelacht. Viel drugs auf Goa Partys und hatte mich oft nicht unter Kontrolle. Ich kann es wissen wie sich jim Morrison gefühlt hatte viele sind einfach auf seine Konzerte gegangen um ihn auszulachen🎉WÄRE er bei seiner vorherige Frau, geblieben. Wo die Doors ihre ersten Auftritte hatten. Oder vor die Doors dann würde jim Morrison heute noch leben. Und ich hätte ihn Interviewt.Und hätten Beide Kontakt.
Echt jim hat am 8 Dezember auf einen Freitag Geburtstag Und ich hole am 1dezember eine jacke. Von The doors,am 8 Dezember will ich ihn feiern, höre ihn seit ich 13.jahre alt war und du hast viel Ahnung. Welches Ritual feiert man jim Morrison Mit LSD und gras oder mit WHISKY UND Eigentlich hat der Alkohol jim umgebracht vielleicht auch seine Freundin Pam wollte nur sein Geld für ihres Heroin dass jim Blut gespuckt hat sie nicht interessiert und wo er nach Paris war wurde alles noch viel schlimmer
This album was badly recieved by hard core Doors fans that hated all the brass and strings. However, it lived on into a new generation that saw interest in Doors music grow. It wasn't a sell out by the band, it was a natural progression as times changed with the non-conformist, love and peace Hippy era slowly being slaughtered by frightened governments worldwide. The Soft Parade track explains that change so perfectly.

Easily my favourite Doors album, and I like them all. This is a fantastic slice of late '60's music. What an amazing band they were!

I lived in LA and was an avid Doors fan. The Soft Parade was different.......however, it was the Doors!
