I once wanted to increase my focus a lot. I went a month without listening to music voluntarily. I was then able to finish the novel 1984 in one sitting. Well worth it.

People like Dandipani and Sadhguru and others are helping us, teaching us about spirituality and all they do is tell people to focus on the human nature (thoughts & feelings) and how to control your emotions because these are the basic things and once we start doing this we will automatically figure out and want to go further. Need much people like Ranveer who is helping the youth

Prolonged focus is concentration.
For example if you want to become an engineer
Keeping your goal in your mind is focus
To achieve that you have to put it in work now that is concentration .

Being a student, I feel that understanding and writing the concept are two different activities. Are these two activities are distractions to me or not because I cannot focus purely on one of them ? If yes how to resolve this issue.
what are you exactly referencing to? i had a similar prob when i used to write notes along with my teaching while she was teaching. this made me focus more on just jotting everything down and i would not be able to really grasp what my teacher was teaching. luckily because of online classes, ive been able to solve the issue. i now get pdfs for each lecture. so now i pay full attention to the lecture without writing anything down. once class is over, i open the lecture pdf and make my notes. this has improved my ability to focus and retain information greatly.

way too expensive his courses are, Something ancient yogis offered it for free to the aspirants. At least cannot be affordable for someone from the eastern subcontinent. Or atleast I cannot afford. Very costly. I could possibly feed my whole family for a month with that kind of money.
