In my opinion volume control is super important. Because many competitors don't have next/previous track and volume together. Why would i even use controls on earphones if I have to get my smartphone out every time I have to change the volume. I could do next track on the smartphone as well with that logic. Oh it is a shame that the controls are so weird. I would have liked to try the Edifiers nonetheless, but the controls do not work for me. I had some similar earphones before and it was very hard to control them while moving and I often accidentally pulled them out of my ears.
Good to know there’s another alternative brand out there that’s pretty close. There’s not many good sources for these type of headphones these days and the wired ones are basically extinct. I’m still using my 1 year old SOUNDPEATS air 3 deluxe, they’re still a solid earbud after all this time. I’ve recently gotten a b&w px7 s2 from Costco just to have a good pair of headphones for when no one’s around and it’s safe to put sound in both ears. The sound is way better when you can plug them in using the usb c cables. I’ve really enjoyed them for gaming and videogame OSTs. Wish there was something similar for wireless buds; something you can use to turn them into wired buds and increase sound quality.
I saw these guys for 50 bucks on prime day, but a lot of Amazon reviews were complaining about battery life. Something about 3-5 hours only. They might as well be wired buds at that point. My air 3 deluxes last pretty much the whole day I feel. They’re still going strong. I would highly advise people here (if these reviews are true) not to grab 5 hour life earbuds
I got the sound peats already and wanted to snag the edifiers but I just can’t get on board with LDAC as a guy that plays a lot of video games. You mentioned that they have a game mode but when you combine an aptx usb c dongle that latency is hard to beat without a 2.4 connection
This is the first time I've heard a reviewer whose review was concise but complete. I like the way you compare by frequently saying "Both of them have...". Thank You.

Because it's a comparison, much easier than a review
