The microphone attachment is really from the buds? Raw? I can't imagine that. The sound quality is perfect. And no one has ever been able to do that. That can't be right
I just watched 2 other reviews of these buds and the mic quality didn't match. The mic quality samples on the other 2 ones sounded like standard ear bud calls. Not sure what Gamesky did to get that clear of a sample.
i own the black color of neo buds pro 2 , its works great so far . The main deal breaker is that its poor battery life... great anc , equalizer is a bit complicated but good enough, its pretty good for morning walk and jogging since it fits really really well... The case and buds are plastic built but it gives that premium sony vibe ... the app is optimized now ... so far i am happy with this product .. microphone for receiving call is magnificent... That's all ❤
My NeoBuds Pro 2 are on their way. I have the first gen and hands down best earbuds I have ever tried. Phone calls are insanely clear, that sub bass feeling is crazy. Battery life doesn't matter to me much as I'm not walking around with these in my head all day. 90 minutes at the gym while I am working out leaves me with 75-80% battery life left with high noise cancellation on and ldac turned on. If you aren't plugged in all day long and 4-5 hours battery is good enough for you, you won't be disappointed in these that is for sure.
Hi I have the first gen and considering these for the spatial audio for music. Do you know if you can listen to spatial audio WITHOUT the headtracking? Also, how does the sound compare to the first gen?
@@andersjacobsen2267I don't use the head tracking, find it weird. Sound wise, very similar, slight edge top end to second gen. Noise cancellation is better 2nd gen. Only drawback is battery life. I get maybe 2 hours, which isn't a deal breaker for the majority of what I use them for.
The mediocre battery life is my biggest issue with these. The mics sound insane. Like top tier. I would have gladly taken a little more size on the buds if it meant better battery life
Awesome review, like always, but I like how you brought us into your world and did the mic test outside. As a long time listener, this was a pleasant surprise! Keep making content, because some of your fans can’t wait to see what you present!
I just upgraded from the first version. Initially I copied my settings and used LDAC plus custom EQ. Sound on the PRO 2 was lacking bass. The old ones felt like subwoofers inside my head. Only after your video I tried the Dynamic mode and the bass on the version 2 came through 😁 Thanks for the video!
How much better would you say it is compared to the first one ? I own the first ones now for nearly 2 years and I am looking for an upgrade. Is it worth it ? Especially if you consider the Anker Soundcore options available
@@DestroF777 I am still trying to get the best our of them. It's really important what are you feeding them, where the signal is coming from. They sound better with my old Huawei p30 pro which has dolby atmos and factory 10 band EQ. Jeeeshh.. I thought this was going to replace my Liberty 4 but then the Battery Life was mediocre which is one of my primary consideration in buying a TWS. I hope they release a better model than this...
Just bought these and the battery life with ANC OFF and no LDAC (iphone) was LESS than 2 hours. Battery drain for the right bud was significantly higher with a contrast of 1% to 37% remaining and end of each cycle. CASE charging used 47% of capacity for 1 charge. ZERO customer service so far.
Yes that will work but I don't want to take one out every time. Literally almost every other bud has 3 and 4 tap options. 2 in this day and age is just unacceptable in my opinion.
Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 vs. SoundPeats Opera 05 vs. Soundcore Liberty 4 NC... It seems that the Opera 05 has the best sound quality, but the NeoBuds Pro 2 are on the same level. The Liberty 4NC has the best features, but the NeoBuds Pro 2 are right behind except for battery life. So, are Edifier the ones to choose? And what if I can buy Liberty 4NC or Opera 05 for 70$ and Edifier for 110$? How things will change?
I was in the same situation, it is complicated, but in the end I ended up deciding on the liberty 4nc for all its features at the lowest possible price, they have wireless charging and a greater number of functions above its competition, I can say that they have good sound mainly In bass and within the app with the equalizer you get even better sound quality, with a broader sound stage, strong and clear voices, greetings.
Idk, had neobuds pro (1 not 2) not only left ear died after 10 days of use, they also had meh sound. realme air 3 had better sound... its actually stupid. ANC is strong, yes. But because its quite agressive they create a vacuum feeling and distort the sound both - the sound of the song and the sounds inside comparing to more 'budget' buds. However passive NC is veeery good. Like. Real good.
Seen multiple reviews now and none of them have call quality this good. Are you sure you haven't mistakenly used the camera mic audio? Anyway, as others have said, battery that low in this day and age is a dealbreaker for me too. And batteries degrade. Finally very few mention it but that bloated, permission hungry app is also a turn off. Edifier is quickly becoming a no go brand for me.
The real world mic test was way more informative than the "crowd noise" in studio (I never hear the noise "which you can hear here"). Shame about battery life.
Hello, I purchased one, and I have noticed that one of the headphones is draining the battery faster than the other, have you noticed anything with yours?
Since I already have the original Neobuds Pro, the crappy battery life, controls, and no multipoint are all deal breakers for me. If Edifier brought something entirely new and different to the table, that would be one thing, but since these seem to be nothing but a warmed over version of the originals, I'll pass thanks. However, the review was awesome, as always, so huge props to the Gamester.

Yeah, it's almost 2024 and multipoint is basically a standard especially if you have a pro in the name of the product. Even Bose had to learn that the hard way after all the criticism they coped for the absence of one. It is a feature that everyone can benefit from not like the high res that depends on the phone you have or music services you have subscribed to.
Miserable battery life and the same control scheme from Edifier (only double and triple tap? what?) make these an easy pass. They tune their earbuds well and give you solid ANC but miss on a LOT otherwise. No multipoint or wireless charging either.
Totally agree. I got these for free, would never pay for them. I mean 2 tap control per bud is just plain dumb these days. They do sound good but the negatives kill them.
I have these and whilst good they are nothing special they need tweaking in the app to sound good, I also have the Marshall Major Motif 2 that just came out and they absolutely blow these out of the water however they are 50quid more but as well as they sounding tons better with way more clarity and loudness they also have wireless charging and look better that's an extra 50 quid well spent imo, I primarily listen to rock
