- This is a non-sponsored review and test of the Cardo Spirit motorcycle / ATV /side-by-side and other power sports bluetooth communications and smartphone wireless helmet headset.
Video includes a quick overview of the Cardo line and pricing from the classic duel system and G4 to the new Packatalk long-range system and the super affordable Sprit and Sprit HD models.
From there, we move to unboxing of the unit. installation and an on-road at speed test.

Thank you for the honest review! Would love your review for on the audio quality for music once you figure out the correct placement.
Audio quality is really good for what you're working with. It's not the 10 speaker Infinity system in my car. But for a pair of little 1-inch speakers, the sound is impressive. They do sell an add-on set from JBL as well. But those are a larger diameter again, so check your helmet spacing first.

Good review - I have had a great experience with the Spirit as well - and with recent firmware update, cross platform intercom works! I use mine on Schuberth E1. Good tip on speaker pocket size.
Thanks for the review. First ride with my new Cardo Spirit 2pac. They are installed in a Nolan Modular and a 3/4 cheepo with visor. Seems ok but there is an annoying echo proceeding my partners comments. Any suggestions? Thanks...
I've only got a single unit. But is it possible one unit is picking up both riders voices causing the echo?

@@AdventuresonTour have you u ridden in rain etc with them how do they hold up? I found the spirit hd duo for around £195 so might go for them
I have, wasn't heavy rain but didn't have any issues. I've had several other Cardo systems over the years and been pound by rain for days at a time on some rides. Never had an issue with the older versions. So they do know how to make them waterproof.

Did you end up taking the little piece of foam out of the helmet?
No, not yet.. im on the fence about doing it. They are glued to the pad, so they are a, one and done type thing.
Hi, how is the music/sound quality on high speed maybe 100kmh and above?
For music it still good above 120kmh, if your a fan of talk radio that starts to become harder to listen too.. As talk doesn't have the range of sound music does. Only problem I did find was trying to use voice to text. It has some type of auto mute on the mic for noise reduction. And with my Samsung at least, the voice to text isn't programmed correctly to turn off the noise reduction the way it does for phone calls.
@@AdventuresonTour What is your audio setting? I find that at high speed I had to set volume to almost max for music.
There was a 10% discount at my local store two weeks ago. So I bought it and tried to go for a ride with my buddy. We used discord instead of intercom, it was nice but one downside is music and discord can't play together.
@@cahn7435 never crossed my mind to use something like Doscord for an intercom but cool idea. As for sound settings, I'm just using the default settings in TH-cam Music. I do wear ear plugs which helps to cut the high pitch wind noise, and makes the sound much clearer. But yes above 100kmh the sound is basically at max volume.
Is that a aftermarket tablet made for motorcycles if it is what is it called I am trying to find something like that and does it work we'll thanks for the video
@user-qe9qu7wm3w yes it's an Android Auto/ apple car play screen for motorcycles. Waterproof and comes with a bunch out mounts.. I did a video of it..

It's not as bad as it looks that far back.
Is it true that it has a delay with the pillion?
I'm not sure. I've only got the single unit. I guess there is naturally a small delay, as it has to electronically processed between the 2 units. So half second delay wouldn't be surprising.
