Welcome to Adventures on Tour.
I started making these videos a few years back, mostly for family and friends as pictures are worth a 1000 words, but videos tell a story. As away to share more of the travels my wife and I make. Being somewhat empty nesters at this point in our life, we are always out and about most of the time just local in our own backyard just seeing what's there. There was never and never will be a goal to make a living off our videos. But its more of a way to simply share our travels with the people we know and to anyone else who wants to come along.
I'm also a tech nerd so, I do fine myself exploring the cutting edge of new technology, in the form of electric cars or other cool new battery power equipment. Along with products to help simplify our adventures as we travel.

Touring the HMCS Haida - The Canadian Navy's most Fightingest Ship
Build and put to sea in 1943, the HMCS Haida is the only surviving Tribal-class destroyer out of 27 vessels constructed for the RCN, the Royal Navy, and the Royal Australian Navy between 1937 and 1945, Haida sank more enemy surface tonnage than any other Canadian warship and as such is commonly referred to as the "Fightingest Ship in the Royal Canadian Navy".
For years the Haida was part of Ontario Place, located at the west end of Toronto Harbor. However when Ontario Place closed in the early 2000s due to lack of attendance. The Haida was taken over by Parks Canada and moved to Hamilton and given a $5 million restoration, to create one of the best museum ships I've seen.
Designated a national historic site of Canada in 1984, she now serves as a museum ship berthed next to HMCS Star, an active Royal Canadian Naval Reserve Division, in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2018, Haida was designated the ceremonial flagship of the RCN.

My YouTube Subscriber Award & I'm donating my YouTube Income
มุมมอง 105หลายเดือนก่อน
My YT channel has broken the 1000 subscriber mark and is now monetized. YT doesn't have a subscriber award for 1000 subs anymore but before 2019 they did have an Opal award. So I 3D printed my own. As well as a big thankyou to everyone who has subscribed and watched my videos, I'm going to donate my first YT payment to my local animal shelter. #youtubeaward #donate #helpanimal #animalshelter #3...

Upper Brewers the Perfect Overnight Spot - Cruising the Rideau Canal Episode 27
มุมมอง 2842 หลายเดือนก่อน
Upper Brewers is a quiet area on Little Cranberry Lake, that has lots of power and dock space. But is just isolated enough to keep the over night noise at bay. Lots of fish here in the water, so I wouldn't put my toes in. Join us as we cruise in our 2005 Monterey 302 South bound out of Ottawa along the 200 kms of the Rideau Canal. The canal lifts you up nearly 300 feet at Rideau Ferry before lo...
