Hey Tony, do you know of any good credit card in Canada which offers any sort of trip cancellation insurance (in the case of sudden illness the day of travel)?
I have visa, master card and Amex and all of the insurances start from trip departure on when it comes to sudden illness like that, and if it’s a known illness you’ve had ongoing that causes the trip cancellation it’s usually not covered even if you buy their optional extended coverage you can pay extra for. These companies are really sticky with health insurance coverage. I’ve had a few experiences with this with a few cards insurance and also banks extended travel insurance.
