    How effective is turning/angling the plow with the rubber end-pieces still on?

    Got one and love it. I have the winch with it. Works great

      Hi - do you have the downforce strap on the winch to back drag snow? I’ve been looking at the same setup but need to be able to do that too. Thanks

      @@stevenmondazzi4192 yes, back dragging didn’t really work well at all. However the down force straps allow me to scrap the driveway better. I was hoping it would allow back dragging, but I would not recommend it for that. The winch is a must have if you don’t have one.

      @@CriticsCorner-ws5vs thanks - I’m getting this all installed next weekend with winch - will try the back dragging still but thanks for responding

      @@CriticsCorner-ws5vs What made the back dragging not good? Couldn't you just do a little at a time? What kind of vehicle do you have it on? I have a Quigley 4x4 06 Ford E-350 van with a 4" drop down hitch receiver. It works pretty good, but reverse plowing is tough on a smaller style odd shaped driveway. They do make a front hitch receiver for my vehicle but I would need to know if the back dragging is worth it to purchase the winch setup & downforce straps for it. Thanks =)

    Wow.. If that's all you need - more power to ya. But there are a lot better options avaliable for 1/2 ton trucks.. Nice light tho!

    Is this worth the money? Do you like it? Any complaints?

      I've had mine for 5 years already and love it. Last year I added a Harbor Freight winch and it makes all the difference in the world. I plow my driveway and a 900 foot private road, and the rubber cutting edge shows no wear. Well worth the money.

    I'd buy one except you cannot backdrag with it in front of garages etc...seems like half the benefits. The point of having a plow is no shovelling and well, we hate shovelling.

      Yes, that can be an issue. Depends on how your driveway is set up. As you can see, works perfect for me. Happy shoveling or snowblowing! I have done plenty of both over the years here and this plow is the best thing that could ever have happened to me! A BIG thanks to my big brother!

      Add the winch with downpressure and run straps from eye bolts to front tow rings on your truck and then backdragging works pretty good.

      This is why you shouldn’t watch videos and drive then try to ask questions via Bluetooth cuz it sounds dumb!
      What I was trying to ask is can you buy a winch for that plow or use one with it?

    • @M3hammerdown
      @M3hammerdown 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Pitcher-23 yes they sell a winch kit that also allows for downpressure. And if you add eye bolts to the back of your blade and run straps to your front tow rings you can do light back dragging also.
