As far as I know, the 5.8mm type201 is a squad level weapon. The 7.62nato type 201 is a platoon or company level weapon, depending on the type of unit.

What he said was pretty on point. They are a group of retired soldiers, SWAT, PAP, and police in a training school to either teach others or test new weapons.
I wouldn't look too much into the badge, they are known to mix gears, badges, and even have custom badge made for them. All we know is it's a mix of PAP, SWAT, and police.
