I actually just got my first crunchyroll manga order myself just the other day and got the les miserables manga adaptation (which is a super huge first omnibus) which I really enjoyed and highly recommend as well! 📚📚📚

Hey just found your channel! Gantz and Homunculus are both so high on my list! JJK is one of my faves! There was some issues with the second season for sure and lots of discussion about the animators working conditions, but then they just announced that MAPPA are doing season 3 as well!!

Nice haul! As far as packaging, I noticed that it came from the same place as all the rightstuf orders I got before (from Iowa). So I wondered if stuff was shipping from the same place just under the crunchy roll name. It would make sense since moving stock would be.... a rough time XD So hopefully they keep up the packaging conditions to ensure orders stay in good shape.

I really like how you do your reviews. I want to know your opinion on the omnibus volume two for Homunculus. Some reviewers found it disturbing and dropped it. I am considering not reading it because of the sensitivity I feel regarding how a young woman was treated. It may be that it is necessary to the plot development of the morality of the main character; if so, I would be ready to pick it up.

I just got a Crunchyroll order that came in yesterday and the EXACT SAME THING happened where it wasn't scanned so that it couldn't be tracked until it entered my city. the fact that this happened twice in such a short amount of time makes me think it is a Crunchyroll issue instead of a usps one...

Oh for sure! I thought it was just me because my local post office has issue sometimes. It may be a Crunchyroll issue if it’s happening in such a short time like you said

hows insurance for it? does crunchy offer replacement if stolen or lost in transit? i remember rightstuf had that lil insurance button for around dollar. helped me once when usps delivered my stuff to wrong address. usps never contacted me back after they admitted to taking it somewhere else lol

I’ve had a couple of orders since then and I had a couple of issue such as the tracking not working properly, payment issues somewhat. I will say it was near the holidays so that could be the reason? I’m making another video soon discussing this topic more in detail soon. Good place to order from still when they get everything in right

Homunculus is peakest peak, I wish his other work, Ichi the Killer, would get published as well, but i imagine it won't be because it's too messed up with the sexual violence and perversions. This last bit of the mangaka is only glimpsed at in Homunculus, which makes it more palatable for western readers.
