With Neiman's camera expertise, and a little Photoshop you could always use the same staging wall and change its color and texture in your staging photos. It would be cheaper than multiple walls and you could make your background fit your piece. Just a thought.

    @JustinJ. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +29

Awesome video, as usual! I used magnets behind my panels so I can quickly change them out when needed. Frame stays in place and you just clip on and clip off which ever panel you would like for the look

Make the space behind your staging wall a place to store your knick knacks and plants for easy access.

Pretty cool, Lauren! If desired you could even put trim down on the floor.
I love your background color choice too! Storage behind should be designated as for staging only.
I immediately thought of your chairs! The color will pop.
You may want to look for a rug with just a tad more contrast from the wall. But what’s so cool is that you can have more than one so you have choices!!

Agree about the trim idea, that’s something I always admired about your last wall! It just looks more finished, like a ‘real’ wall.

I bought my husband a cordless Dewalt drill for a gift about 25 or 30 years ago when they first came out. It has really been used over the years and still works great. Others have come and gone. The battery on that old one is better.

For another staging area you could get some photography background paper and stands. The background paper comes on large rolls of different colors and textures or you could paint your own. You can also get fabric backgrounds to hang.

Girl, I can sympathize about the sweat! I also have long, thick hair. I was sanding down the pedestal base of my MIL's dining table in 99 degree weather the other day. I had to be careful not to have my head over the wood because the sweat was pouring off the tip of my nose! I haven't really flipped furniture for sale yet. I have just been re-doing pieces for my own house. But it's nice to know that it wouldn't cost too much to put together a staging wall if I decide to try it!

While you are at Home Depot you can check out their Chalk Paint. You don't have to stick with the standard colors in the brochure they will mix your chalk paint in any Behr color you want. You can get a quart of paint for $19.95 plus tax compared to the Dixie Belle where they charge $33.95 for a quart plus tax, plus shipping, plus you never know what DB is going to send you.

Lauren I have learned so much from you in the few months I’ve been watching your videos, I a e gone back and binged watched all of them because well ...you are just awesome !
I had NO idea I could buy big sheets of this type of paneling...um, I see big things happening in my basement! I have an unfinished basment but it’s the full size of my house so it’s a good 1200 sq feet and we aren’t going to finish it before we sell, I’m thinking I could use this paneling to just provide a bit of a better back drop that the half insulated have concrete walls. I just messaged my husband and asked him if he had a nail gun, he says “ no, why? “.... I said “ oh no reason, just curious, lol”.... the first video I watched of yours was the green dresser , the really bright vibrant green with the gold handles, it popped up in the top of my “rec’s That day on YT ...that green was so stunning I had to see how you did it! My basment is FULL of furniture that is begging to be painted !

I’ve been wanting to make a staging wall. I’ve priced some panels at Menards. But I really didn’t like what they had. I like the panel you picked out. LOL. Guess I need to go check out Home Depot. Thanks for sharing this. I bet you love that nailer. I have an air powered one but also have a Ryobi battery powered. I always reach for the Ryobi. But… all my batteries are dying. I like using my husbands Dewalt drill better so Ive been thinking about upgrading my nailer instead of buying new batteries. Dewalt is such a great brand.

I think I like it without the blanket. And maybe something else on the dresser

I think several small quilts might work better than a large blanket. You could switch out different colors for different furniture finishes. I'll bet you have some quilting friends who could help you with this!

Great video Lauren. How about building a stage wall that serves a dual purpose so you have two looks? I’ve seen a tv home shopping stage with a wall on a revolving base they turn around and voila. Not sure about the execution, but just thinking it can be done. Thanks for the staging tips. Awesome!!!!!

While all of this is fantastic, so many of us, are having huge issues, with the change in algorithms at FB marketplace. Pieces are sitting, and being given away, at prices that are far too low. I’m hard pressed to continue, without a viable solution. If pieces aren’t getting any views, they aren’t going to sell. This seems to be a problem with so many furniture flippers.

I ordered faux adhesive brick tiles to stick on my ugliest garage wall. Pack of 11 tiles will cover about 10 square feet. $18 for the pack. I hope the adhesive sticks well.
