When you are in the dungeon trying to get the archers to hit you should kite the enemies so they are on your left side. By pulling them so they are on the right side your archers hit their shields constantly. Meanwhile if they were on the opposite side the shield would be away from your troops

Combat speed does not affect in battle swing rates. While you’re on the map, when two other parties engage each other, their fight will finish faster or slower depending on the combat speed. It doesn’t affect anything else.
Actually, I’m not sure if Siege time is affected. It might be.

TRM is now addicted to the phrase 'as well'
In base game warband, combat speed affects only the AI, and functions only on the campaign map. For expample, In a 100 vs 100 battle on the fastest combat speed, both parties will lose upwards of 15 men every second. On the slowest combat speed, the parties may only lose 3 men every second.
Although, that is base game, and you are playing warsword.
I thought thats how it worked as well but I was seeing conflicting info, most of which was saying it affects actual combat speed of ai like how fast they swing, anybody else have input?
@@trmplays Your own attack speed depends on how heavy your armor/weapons are
Same goes for other units unless it's scripted from the mod
@@trmplays In general, swing speed is determined by the actual weight of equipment and the skill proficiency, but when increasing the AI skill from lowest to highest, they will attack about 5 times as much, giving the illusion of increased speed through sheer volume. Again, the only factor in base game warband affecting swing speed is the proficiency.

how do you increase renown? i tried to change it on the character screen where you can manipulate attributes and skill points but couldn't find it. i was forced to use a cheat in the mod that gave less and less renown for how much renown you had so i didn't fully get what i deserved.
Renown doesnt start building till you start doing a load of quests for the faction. Once you become a lord or merc you get it faster. Also you can ask the lord to give you renown instead of giving you gold or an item.
@@tonyravioli1982 well I was doing what he’s doing which are dungeon rewards. Each different rewards for different levels etc. but idk how to reliably change it
@@wojtek9675 to reliably change renown get quests from lords or faction leaders. They always give renown, dungeons, bandit camps, defeating lords, and so on also give it.
@@tonyravioli1982 no, did you each the video? I’m talking about how he gives himself renown for completing dungeons based on what level he beat them at. I’m not talking about getting renown by playing the game.
@@wojtek9675 Turn on cheatmenu from the launcher, in-game type in "cheatmenu" in the console which is the ' key, go to Reports and you'll figure it out from there

I thought you were only recruiting Elves, Dark Elves and High Elves? Wouldn't gathering companions other than that defeat the purpose of the rules? I can understand the throw away mercenaries and stuff but why create the rule to then go right for Mathias? Also you give yourself like tons of attribute points and skill points for doing the dungeons as well as completely deviated from the entire point of being elf only. It's cool tho, i feel it. A lot of skills are basically unattainable to their full potential and having so many different choices in the new skills that are required on top of the vanilla skills that are required it makes sense to boost yourself to be able to utilize all the skills that are necessary on top of the ones that make you effective in combat
Imaging having the most powerful archers in the game and get expensive halfling archers instead 😂
