25:00 In the early game the safest way to make money and gain proficency is to join the arena fights in a large arena, a 1000 for each victory. You can open an enterprise in less than an hour
33:00 Reformist... If you sell weapons or armour to the goods vendor you are going to gain less money (10%). First sell the weapons to the weaponsmith and the armour to the armourer, then if you still have goods go to the mounts vendor or the fourth one.
Your pc should be named Ragmar, like the Baalbuddy shaved dwarf characther 😆 he can be a raki exterminator, but he is not gonna make his ancestors proud!

Seeing a runelord is an absolute dream though. Would love to see a caster in the next series! Would be a good exploration of the unique stuff in the mod
Which faction do you suggest for a caster? I'd also like to explore it! :)
(Just a side note, I did create a video on a Beastman summoner which is sorta a caster but I only used the one spell in that!)

@@ReformistTM I personally like Chaos a lot for magic, all their god-specific magic schools are quite good and unique. Probably the caster I've played that felt the most powerful as though, with incredible AoE buffs and debuffs, and solid magic missiles, plus a nuke that is mana-intensive but great against elite armored foes, was a Lore of Metal caster. Plus they get bonuses that let them be a bit more effective as a combat hybrid too, as the lore attribute makes all your attacks stronger against armor, and the wizard staff for the Metal school increases the amount of armor you can wear before it starts to penalize your casting.
Imperial, Araby, Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, High Elf, Wood Elf (for some reason), and Dark Elves are the ones who get access to the Lore of Metal, I believe. Maybe it's time to go Elf, the natural opposite to the Dwarf?
@@ReformistTMThe vampire faction has a very unique magic system that focuses either on mass buffs or summoning, which might be interesting. othwerise playing a dark elf witch (or wizard) might be interesting with a lot of new enemies and quite a different roster overall. Chaos & chaos dwarves are a bit hard to avoid the heavy armor (and magic debuff because of encumberance) so a swift elven mage might be cool. I did also watch your beastmen episode, but like you said, it was quite a limited showing of the full mage lifestyle
@@idanben8457 Dark Elves are interesting to play indeed, love their easy access to massed repeater crossbows! And they get access to some sweet magic lores. Lore of Slaanesh is a really solid choice that is also thematically appropriate. Though the same could be said about Dark magic I guess, a bit less versatile since it lacks a summon or summoning mechanic, both of which Slaanesh has, but on the other hand... its buffs and debuffs can turn a guaranteed loss into a guaranteed win, just about.
@@idanben8457 Vampires magic is good in AoE spells , its deadly in the sieges , and it heals you as well!

Have never ever found anyone who also played Messiah dark might of magic ❤ a timely classic
I think a good early investment are some companions. Eleanor for the package of pathfinding, looting and some trade skill (she also has an amazing dungeon related random event btw.), Joseph Bugman for some serious trade skill to make more profit from dungeon loot, and Gotrek. Now Gotrek isn't cheap, 4500 as a dwarf, but he is by far the strongest fighter among companions.
I can only agree supremely on Eleanor and Gotrek. Both are often saving my bacon in my Bretonnian Mousillon Knight playthrough.

id love to see more of dorf, it would be good to see some of the famed dwarf infantry, slayers hammerers and ironbreakers are some of the most powerful infantry in the setting, and probably your best bet for a dwarf themed army considering there are no artillery units in the mod as far as i know. also being annoyed by goblins in an underground cave is extremely lore accurate for a dwarf character hahahaha

Please continue this playthrough, please. Already started a Beastman shaman character cos of your last video on one and I'm having great fun. Though you should have taken the spell Viletide on that one for offensive purposes. Its like having a semi-automatic magical rifle and it only gets stronger per point in Magic Power. And I want to see the end result of this.
The Rune Armor with both Armor boosts and the Advanced Ignore Pain enchantment is spooky good, especially when paired with all the other buffs you can stack.
I ran a Dwarf Mounted Archer for quite some time, starting with 18 Str lets you get crazy good Power Draw to start.
A dawi riding a living creature in Warhammer fantasy? Most lore-unfriendly thing I've heard. You cannot trust a beast with your life umgi, only a proper war machine! 🚁
@@torquevonthorne948 Doesn't matter if the lore fits, a strong dwarf can pull a rather scary strong bow. Pretty sure you can start with enough Power Draw to get the Dragonbo which does 25 base with a 1d6x modifier, and add Evlen arrows which add 5 damage and come in stacks of 34 and you've got a monster.

Investing in some cheap dwarven crossbow would make dungeons a lot easier, they don't bring enemy reinforcements and allow for some cheese vs overwhelming numbers
There's a rumble in the rat infested tunnels. Rumors are saying it's a single dwarf, probably a German one, but not the type you would want to have sitting in your Garden. His Name "Dorf" translates to Village from German to English. It is said they called him like that, cause fighting him alone is like fighting a Village full of Dwarves.

no need constitution because when you reach 500 renown you can purchase "you can not be poison" rune, The willpower attribute gives dwarves magic resistance, so you might want to give it some points.
I took constitution for the health regen! :)

Only this one. You can only have one mod installed in Warband. If the mod contains other sub mods then you get those as well.

Hey I see you level polearms, if the mod's author was faithful to the lore, dwarfs don't use any melee weapons that don't function as a tool aswell (it's a cultural + historical thing).
So I'd assuma that you can't use any spears, halberds or swords as a dwarf, only pickaxes hammers and axes.
i think the reason that you got abysmal loot in 1 dungeon from chest is that you have 0 looting
I believe looting skill only affects the end dungeon loot and not the chests. But that's just what I saw somewhere.
@@ReformistTMBy my experience, it does seem to affect ALL of the randomely generated loot, from defeated enemy parties to chests.
