Orc playthrough sounds like a lot of fun. :D
Here are some tips for new Mage players to struggle less, things I've learned.
1. A lot of Mage builds start with 15 Str + 12 AGI, to alleviate the agony of dungeon close quarter combat. THEN, invest into INT. Magic is generally there to supplement. It shines in the mid-late game, and generally perform well in sieges/battles, poor in dungeons.
2. *To make dungeon's easier, put the dungeon related spells first.* E.g. self-buff (Fist of Gork) first, and the minor missile spell (Gaze of Mork) second. (Your spells appear in the order that you put them in your inventory.) This order allows you to instantly buff yourself every time you spawn in a dungeon room, and easily switch to a rapid fire missile secondly. These are good dungeon spells, as you get more Magic Power, and I've never triggered reinforcements with these types of spells.
3. Keep your total encumbrance below >23, >27, >32 >45. The exception is Gold Magic. (Gold is designed to be used with heavier armour, like a spellsword class.)
4. When you cast magic, eventually a horde of demons will spawn out of nowhere behind your lines. I'd personally disable this feature in the settings, if you're a mage. It tends to really screw the player over, but each to their own taste I suppose.

Excited about the ork shaman run! Would love to see you play more traditionally and go lightly armoured (also to avoid the encumberance penalty to magic) Would love to see a full focus on magical potential.

I have no idea how 'brain bursta' works but it's the reason I dread fighting the orks as a caster. Even their non-hero mercenary caster unit can one shot you with it.
orcs have nothing on Kiselv.. they can summon bears and stop your whole army form moving
@@mdb45424 I disagree... as a player, there is nothing more frightening than the lores with conditional 1-hit-kill spells. Not that the Orcs are one of them.

theres actually two lores of magic, but its body spefic, the big waaaagh for orcs, and the little waaagh for goblins.
Hey James, just a heads up. The range issue is only for right side attacks, left side ones work fine since the hitbox passes much closer to your body, and top attacks are usually pretty reliable too, unless you're with a polearm, in which case the hitbox doesn't trigger right at extremely close ranges.

Lore wise for evil characters you can recruit outside the orcs you got the dark elves that often used Orks as tools, helping them ultimately for their own purposes, but in ways the Orks generally don't notice or care about. So they send agents a.k.a scouts to guide or maybe even train Orks if you level up the character that way. Goblins naturally.
Outside of that you have the Skaven. Although that's a mixed one at best as they fight alot and you are going the Shaman route ultimately. The one thing I will argue against is no humans, even Chaos ones. Orks just like fighting humans far too much. Naturally no dwarves.
Orks dont care about politics as long as its a good fight. Its more who is willing to use them. They are almost as mercanry as orges are. Table top wise number 1 ally is goblins, choas dwarves enslave them and They some times work for and against choas

Have you ever considered picking a race then joining a faction which is technically enemies with them? I'm currently playing a skeleton who is secretly a Bretonnian, and me and the handful of skeleton companions are currently all dressed like paladins and are roaming around performing gallant deeds for the locals, despite the fact all the Bretonnian lords have -10 relation with us. It's arduous but really fun from a roleplay perspective.

For some lore
The Greenskins magic (big WAAAAAGH for orcs, little waaaaaaagh for goblins” uses the combined psychic power of all orcs in the area, with the shaman mostly barely able to contain and hardly able to control
This means that with a large enough army, orc shamans are capable of conjuring very very very powerful magic, but with the very real threat of blowing himself up and everything within a very large radius.
Gameplay wise I think I saw a tool tip suggesting they have something to represent this part of orc magic, if so that would be awesome
on table top think every set number of orcs adds to the magic dice, over casting a spell is quite dangerous ;3
I believe Oggy Boggy is the only unique ork companion.
The other ones you're finding are randomly generated and start pretty terrible. They tend to have randomly high charisma also, I think it is so you have plenty of potential vassals.

I'm currently playing an Orc Shaman and they are pretty fantastic, Orc units are very tanky with their Ignore pain and Savage orc mercenaries having a ward save. The Big Wagh! lore has some potent damage spells with Foot of Gork and some buffs for your already good units. I only have two criticisms of orcs, one of which is the companions having rng stats sometimes means that they spawn with very little strength, I've seen as low as 5, and thus can't even use orc weapons and armor and the other being that orc like Chaos are quite large and block a big portion of the screen.
Yup, and STR increases the size of the model of Orcs, Skaven and Chaos, so the stronger you are, the more your perspective is restricted. Hopefully that can be addressed by the mods.

I'd love to see you get some goblin heroes as I think some of the orc spells can effect goblins and the orc heroes seem to be a bit lack luster other than Oggy Boggy
If im not wrong. Brain Bursta sounds like that magic missle type spell that only effects on spell casters.
On another note. Im sad to see that other orks dont speak broken english in this mod :/. I love the concept of Ork shaman Warboss 😜
Orcs respect strength, it's lore appropriate to hire anyone super strong, ... But needs to be silly strong
Biggest problem with orcs is the camera is your enemy, their large frame and head placement means third and first person are very hard to see in (Especially with some of the bulkier armor).
Staffs are shields which give a buff to your stats so if you can snag one of them it would help quite a lot.
For me the animation right are worse than the camera issue. At very close ranges your right attack will phase through opponents because the hitbox passes behind them due to the orcs' longe arms and the hitbox being around the weapon itself.
It does mean however that your right attacks also have the longest range out of any of the playable races, so you can snipe enemies from far away and kite them that way.
@@leonardomarquesbellini Was pondering a polearm orc as my next character, might have to abuse that quirk.
Orcs actually grow with strength which is a good/bad thing once you get to a certain size your overheads will be able to hit over some barricades and objects but the issue is when you backpedal or fight people who has someone behind them you will end up hitting the person behind your main target ofc leading to you getting hit from the guy in the front just a few thing's to think about as a orc. I find it very hard at 30 strength to hit any skaven/stunty character also and ladders are a nightmare to.

It shouldn't make much difference as long as you watch as much as you want to watch. :)
Basically it comes down to the amount of time you spend total on the video and how you engage with it!
This means watching the whole thing, liking, commenting and sharing etc all make a big difference but the main point is watching it all. :)

i managed to get a sword at the end of a dungeon that has a chance to kill instantly on any hit and if i hit a mount it dies 100%

WSE 2 is a must, a lot smoother, faster and less crashes, it just generally better in every way. I play on my shitty laptop and still haven't got a crash in weeks of playing
