You should start as soon as you can, I started out digital art with some apps on my phone. You can probably find some type of drawing tablet that's cheap if you want to get more serious.

Honestly, a very beautiful scene you layed out for us. Which isn't a surprise coming from someone with talent such as yours. For we can clearly see the moment for what it truly was...a gathering of everyone showing up for the ceremony of Sven and his Boyfriend about to be wedded. Everyone shows up: Black Joergen, Bengt, Ulla Britta, Virgin Toad, Peepeepoopoo as well as one of the other cats. *Or rather that's everyone who's visible since, all the others who have sadly passed on managed to attend as well. Like Bernie, Watersheep, Joergen 1 & 2, Ikea bird 1 & 2, Rolf, Boatcow and Feige that was Jack Black's pet that was killed mercilessly. Not even they wanted to miss this...*
For they've all made it, to watch together as Sven and his Boyfriend prepare to set off on the biggest adventure either one of them has faced. That being...spending the rest of their lives together, by one another's side. Pewds serves as the (hopefully licensed) Pastor to the two of them, looking at this wonderful couple. As he prepares to do his part, so they can do theirs.

Rough drawing process analysis.... *GO!* :
Does background and framework first.
If you do the background first then you can build objects on top of it. So you don't have to change the background in the future to suit the objects.
It also makes it easier to do proportions and keep track of where everything should be.
He / She does rough sketches before the actual piece. This is something any artist worth their salt should be doing.
This way if you don't like how something is positioned it's stupid easy to change things.
This ties in with the first thing I said.
He simplifies heavily on things that aren't really important. (Roof, grass, sky, bamboo.)
He then makes details that are important stand out through using outlines & the like.
This makes your eye flock to details that the artist views as important. E:G Sven & the gang.
Your eye will flock to these things because they are the most defined and outspoken.
The things you noticed last are things that he didn't outline. This is key.
It is very clear that you know what you're doing. +1 respect :D.

I really like this drawing. It is one of the greatest pieces of art that i ever seen. It is drawn very good, it is cute, the story behind it is great and the fact that is transformed from a minecraft moment from Felix's series into a cartoonish scene is the most amazing fact. Hopefully we will see more of these fanarts in the future! Keep on the good work! :D

Well because animals in Minecraft are gender less they have to be given a gender. Sven is a boy and Sven’s BF is a boy too. So technically they are gay even though they can reproduce. But that’s just how Minecraft works. It doesn’t have to make sense it’s a fantasy.
