  • Oink! 'Swine' and dine in this incredible new home. Derelict and lacking life, this former slaughterhouse, pub and blacksmiths was severely harsh to look at. With hope and determination, Paul and Imogen transform this property into a beautifully cosy unit that they can now call their home.
George Clarke meets the people transforming unused and unloved buildings into unique family homes. Watch more from George Clarke's Remarkable Renovations here: • George Clarke's Remark...

I applaud those willing to save old buildings like these, and they are richly rewarded here with a magnificent home.

    Excellent, sympathetic restoration.
And the perfect length film. Doesn’t need to be 45 minutes long.

I love the wonderful restorations you have shown on your many programs. This one is wonderful too. Thank you George. Your programs give me the incentive to keep dreaming in our own home.

How could anyone live there knowing what fear, brutality, killing and bloodshed once happened in that place.

Agreed. I assume you are a vegan. I think it is a good thing that a house of misery, is now someone's home. The icing on the (egg free) cake, would be, for the new occupiers to live a vegan lifestyle there, and set up a memorial in the garden for the animals whose lives were taken there. Now, that would be a fairytale ending.

I can hope they are happy there but to be honest, I don't like any of it except the pub bit
