If it is what they are advertising on launch day then yes I agree. It's hugely important to buy and support this game, especially as it's a lower price than a standard AC game. The language of Ubisoft is always profit and money, and that's the only language we must speak if we're to get them to listen. No amount of verbal criticism will make them see that we prefer the old school over the RPG trash, we have to choose to buy old school and refuse to buy RPG at every opportunity.
Do not buy microtransactions or any sort of exclusive packs.
Do not buy NFTs.
Do not buy anything besides the game and/or its proper DLC expansions.
The glowing swords and flaming god horses aren't worth anything to anyone. You do not need them to play a fucking ASSASSIN game.
Always demand realism, quality and immersion from them.
They really need to bring back the killing animation on every enemies but not just the last enemy standing.

In my opinion if its on every enemy it starts to be very boring but I agree it should be very common in every fight.
Im worry about the parkour because if you see carefully basin does like a little jump right before moving horizontally, i think that's gonna kill the flow and its just gonna be like valhalla, hope they actually improved it
They haven't improved it. If we watch the trailer again, they only show Basim climbing and vaulting off ledges plus that new tall pole move. Im calling it now, the pole parkour? It's scripted, much like the ziplines in AC 3. The parkour is still the same as it was in Valhalla sadly

It’s crazy how ubi once again has us over the moon for the most basic things😭😭😭 first it was having the hidden blade back and I just know the slow mo on basim vaulting over a waist high object was mad intentional💀. But again it’s so wild they have their fan base hyped for things that should be common place in the current games in the first place

the game looks great. the only thing I'm a bit worried about is parkour don't get me wrong what they shown looks good but I'm hoping it's not all the parkour at least a few more moves or if we get lucky consistent side and back ejects.

I was hoping they would show a back eject, allowing a little more control over the parkour. We’ll see what they show next.

I noticed that too. Basim literally walks and runs and even jumps like evior and I can't unsee it, and some of the assassination animations looks the exact same as the evior ones, I swear ubisoft is allergic to creativity man

Finally getting back into the feel of being an assassin. They finally heard the people and diving back into the roots.
we kinda didn't get gameplay tho, just clips with no hud. don't know alot about the combat or stealth. Origins gameplay trailer was how it's supposed to be
I have no faith left in Ubisoft. No matter how cool they can make the trailer look with curated clips, Ubisoft will inevitably monetize it in some way and disappoint us with a shallow open-world filled with countless markers. I mean they literally revealed the Deluxe Edition with the Prince of Persia gameplay before even the official gameplay reveal.
Most of there AC games been great, y’all just complain a lot
This one has always been a smaller scale project tho led by a smaller team Ubi Bordeaux , while the big guys Ubi Montreal and Quebec are working on Red and Hexe
@@ryandennis8366 Definitely not. I wouldn't call any AC great. All AC games had lackluster stealth and combat. What kept me invested was the story and the characters. AC peaked at AC2 and Brotherhood. Unity was also a highlight.

To your point of open world the game is expected to be a linear experience similar to old AC games and the parkour combat all look reminiscent of that let’s just hope it delivers
The run up and kick up move looks slick as hell. Parkour looks great. Visual look amazing. I love that the protagonist is in white robes now like the original. And am glad the rpg skills aren't completely gone ( if that's the chain attack we see ) since I think they add replayable unless the whole tree is fully stealth based. Anyways I'm a excited but not too excited ( learned my lesson from that ) and it's coming to Ubisoft+ day 1 so maybe if it's looking good when it comes out I'll buy that and play it.
Really excited and happy for this return-to-root sorta say. My only hope is that we will soon be done with the bones of this engine, so that we can get a truly stylish, pure and smooth animation, next-gen ac title we’ve all been waiting for since Unity’s reveal in 2013.
One combat mechanic I'm curious about is enemies being able to throw fire as shown in the first trailer when fighting Basim. I know that is in Valhalla but in this game it looks like they have to be near fire to do it.

I was so excited watching this trailer I was barely able to stay in my chair. Great video analyzing all the little stuff. I actually didn't realize the call back to revelations, that's pretty awesome.
at this point i never judge games by trailers, it may look good, but will it play good? will it even be finished on release? let’s hope ubi does it right🙏🏽

I wish the game had ac unity Parkour instead of origins ngl since they said they were taking inspiration from it but the buildings aren't as big so it kinda makes sense

@MasterAssassin Why nobody is talking about the return of cover mechanics in AC Mirage which was removed from Origins. It can be seen in the gameplay trailer while Basim is throwing knives.Cover mechanics is a very vital feature for a stealth oriented game. 3:45

The games did have soft cover mechanics. Corner assassinations where he grabs the guy, and the shoulder swap + bow tilt while aiming, all only happened while in cover.
I'm not expecting them to have added a cover button nor a high profile button.
@@Omar-Asim yes but not proper cover mechanics but in this gameplay trailer it seems like they once again added the unity/syndicate cover system and see he is throwing knives from the cover. Overall,whether or not they added it or not, I really want it to be added.

OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED!!! it has such a great opportunity to be fantastic
I've been a fan of the series since the first game came out in 2007, but this trailer gave me hope: i think that baghdad, the 15 hours long story and the blackbox missions will make Mirage a replayable game (which the last 3 ACs weren't because of the rpg stuff that slowed down the pacing and the immersion to me). kinda sad there's no modern day, but i hope that Ubisoft, seeing the hype and the happiness of the fans (and hopefully the sales going up) will give us some other old style games. fingers crossed
I hope that game features social stealth blending in crowds using crowds as distractions and I hope it has some good ambient music and a ton of finishers like in AC 3.

Origins was not bad, but never replayed it. I could not get through Odyssey and I did not even buy Valhalla.
My wife did buy it on her PS4 (am a PC gamer myself), but she gave up fast. I tried it for a bit. But it just does not feel very AC like.
There are lots of great RPG's, but AC is actually nice, because it's parkour and the ability to go stabby stabby stab stab.

I was so glad to see the beak of Basim's hood hanging fully over his forehead and concealing his eyes. It sounds silly to point out but it's what an assassin should llook ike and it goes such a long way for me.

June 12 is my birthday and i'm glad we're gonna see something about one of my favorite franchises comeback
Definitely looks like an improvement but the parkour and combat look like modified valhalla systems, which is not at all promising. Rest of the game I'm decently hopeful for, but the gameplay I have very little hope for since it's got to be based on either origins, odyssey, or valhalla, which just simply are not the AC systems I personally want in a game.

Considering that this began as a Valhalla DLC concept that got blown up into its own game, expecting more than "modified valhalla" was always going to be a bit much. But there's one thing they can address about Valhalla parkour that doesn't necessitate overhauling the system outright, and that's having a city design that's actually fun to jump and swing around in. There is some hope there, at least.
Combat-wise they really could just make everything attack and die faster and I think people will be happy with that. That's kind of been an issue since as far back as Syndicate.
@@natchu96 agree with you entirely. There’s very minor things they can do that would make for a big improvement, and in terms of the setting it looks much more conducive to being actually interesting to navigate

I was hoping for unique assassination and parkour animations but they just reused valhalla animations
I'm yet to play an AC game but have been interested in the franchise ever since seeing AC Origins on shelves. I'm honestly so exited this will be my first AC experience it looks incredible! The graphics are beautiful and it rocks the gameplay of the older classic AC games incredibly well. Super excited for it!
well, let's hope it actually has the classic ac gameplay experience. I think those 2 minutes have shown promise, except for that triple assasination thing, it looks odd, like basim is teleporting to each enemy instead of actually chaining it together with some cool animations.

Origins is my favorite all time because of the combination of setting and story. If bayek got three games like exit he’d be the best hands down

I think this is going to be GREAT! I am still going to prepare if it is bad. I still won’t pre order but I might.
The corner swing wasn't gone that long, there are several of them in Odyssey. A couple that immediately come to mind are at the Tower of Sounion sync point south of Athens and the Miltiades Fort on Mykonos has two of them and so do several other forts in the game. Most of the parkour I'm seeing here I can already do in Odyssey. Since I like to use the rooftops to ambush Mercs and Cultists with a bow and Devastating Shot I spend a lot of time parkouring in the cities and forts to set up ambushes and escapes. It's WAYYYY better than the wonky controls in the old games where you had to use a left joystick which was more digital than analog, pull a trigger to run and at the same time push a button to sprint/jump/climb that send you in every direction except where you are pointing or doing a 180 instead of climbing up a wall. Hopefully there is none of the old pull a trigger to run nonsense and being able to push a climb/jump button when you want to climb/jump instead of 2 steps before you want to climb/jump. Hopefully it's just an improved version of Odyssey's mechanics (Origins and Valhalla are both too slow and you run like you are bow legged, Odyssey's were faster and crisper but could have used a sprint button for an extra gear) with better stealth or you can count me out.
And please don't make it a crash fest on PC like Valhalla ..... It's still by far the most unstable of the 26 games I currently have installed including Skyrim with 930 mods

What are your thoughts on the deluxe edition for the Prince Of Persia skins? £50 is pretty cheap nowadays for a deluxe edition imo.
One thing I haven’t heard any TH-camrs discuss is the potential for the controls themselves to be adapted back to old school/unity style freeeunning. For instance RT to run instead of RS. I don’t expect this as it’s built off of the back of Valhalla but it’s possible the controls have been tweaked to facilitate parkour again.
If normal walking isn't the default movement speed of the game I'm not buying it.

@@DBcooper420 The entire identity of blending in the crowd and such in walking being the standard speed, high profile and low profile, while not always executed perfectly, are vital to the AC identity.
It's like Origins, then I doubt I'll get the game as it's not just a cheap RPG spin-off intended to play pretend as actual traditional AC style.

Finally, I could back to the AC that I always loved, desired, and wanted, after a long departure from the series since the RPG trilogy that began in Egypt back in 2017.
I'm so excited for this one, and can't wait to play it.
Please Ubisoft deal with it with the extreme care and caution that it deserves.

@@chapelier3103 how is it contradictory. Everything they said was gonna be in the game was shown. Just because it's the same engine doesn't mean it'll be the same game.
It already looks different. Basim moves much faster than eivor, the finisher animations are different, there's more parkour opportunities. There's a lot in the trailer, you seem too focused on the fact that the animations are similar. Of course they'd be but that doesn't mean it'll have the same gameplay systems.

The game looks to be headed in the right direction. Back to stealth, back to being a assassin, back to its roots. BUT base off the gameplay reveal, and playing Ghost of Tsuhima already. It will be hard to play this after playing GOT base on what we see so far
I wasn't expecting Unity level parkour since Mirage was supposed to be a Valhalla DLC but it does look a little more fast and fluid than Valhallas to me which I'm happy with
It seems to me like this may be the perfect blend of the rpg open worlds with the old style parkour
I am skeptical but hopeful, I can tell that features from older titles will be missing for sure but how many is the question
I like the look and whatnot, a mixture of origins and unity, but I'm gonna hold out until further notice like many others

I don't like the way that AC series still have the same type of Graphics as the Origin and Valhalla. If you look at the other upcoming games of 2023, they have unbelievable realistic graphics with super realistic animations and facial expressions. But in AC series its till the same type of graphics and unrealistic facial expressions.
