Love spraying the ppg envirobase products goes on lovely and the silvers are very good 👍 using the colour camera helps a lot also ... great video Gunny 👍👏
painters usually use a multiple of different spray guns for different processes of applications. because it really sucks when you spray clear when you were supposed to sprayed base, but screwed up the job because used the same type of spray gun. love all your vids
I've been spraying PPG water for a while now. I use the camera for everything. I will look over the numbers it gives and make a decision based on that, and it works awesome. Ill do on average 6 bake cycles a day with 2 booths.
Looks great to me Mr Gunny, another thing I like about the Sata is that you can change the battery in the digital gauge I don't know why Devilbiss went down the path of having their gauges sealed for life so you cant touch them, both my base and clear DV1's are digital and I doubt Devilbiss would replace the battery for free and how long would you be without your gun while it's being fixed 🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️ John UK.
Colour card was sprayed after you changed pots from the underbonnet paint with hardener. When you changed pots, there was still some of the underbonnet paint in your gun (could be seen). So your paint chip may not be accurate? Thoughts?

I use PPG water to. I have had the same issues as you with color match. I been using the camera more and more. I am in the USA
