that’s so awesome 🤘I had the pleasure of seeing them play a few years back and they were so clean. that’s gonna be a great show, because I know Chilean’s love metal!!! thanks for the comment
I love to hear that. I am such a geek with tunings, haha, and so I knew some others had to feel that way. It's like if you know your guitar is already tuned to something specific, might as well learn some riffs right away! Thanks for commenting
Im a new metalhead trying to get into different genres then just nu metal and this video really helped me. While I dont know if im ready for death metal yet the otehr ones sound great and I will be subscribing for more!
I'm so glad to hear this! Even the melodic death metal, commonly referred to as "Melodeath" is not always as harsh as it might sound. Even though it is "death metal" by subject matter and the vocals, a lot of the music itself just has a different feel. Some of the big ones are At The Gates, Soilwork, In Flames alongside Dark Tranquillity. Over the years I've also been pretty surprised at how many people were influenced by nu metal, even though some hate to admit it lol.
I actually like both, though I can't say I've heard Unearth in years. I will put them in my rotation now. All That Remains is awesome too. I grew up playing guitar hero 3, so Six was my jam lol. But for real that whole album, and Overcome were my favorites. I'm SUPER excited for the new album, because Jason Richardson is awesome and the new singles have brought back that amazing feel. Also Oli Herbert was incredible and I often forget what a guitar influence he is for me so thank you for the reminder. Saw them with Trivium in 2008 or 9 and his playing was absolutely flawless.
I would pick In Flames instead of Trivium. I Absolutely Hate Trivium like you wouldn't believe. lol Awesome List. 🤘🏼
Hell yeahhh, Insomnium!!! 🔥🔥 gonna see them next sunday here in Chile, first time in South America 🇨🇱🔥

How do you feel about All that Remains or Unearth?

Does Ne Obliviscarus qualify?
That's a good question - because they are pretty sick. I've always considered them pretty hard to classify
@@SeriouslyMetal Agreed.
