- Today, I’m going to narrate what happens in my typical day of work as a virtual medical scribe. I will show you what I usually do right after I wake up in the evening, what I eat when I have a shift, and a glimpse of how I use my dual monitor set-up for my job. I know that some of the items are not really practical but through the years I realize that I have the tendencies to splurge on other people and cheap out on myself which is something I want to change.
I was hesitant in posting this video because of the fear of criticism about my figure or my unhealthy eating habits but in this time of the pandemic, I think the priority is for you to live and enjoy the things that might not be there tomorrow. Hope this video would give you an idea of what I do as a medical scribe and would also make you interested in becoming one. Enjoy!

Depends on the employer, they usually have requirements

I really can't recommend anything because our training was provided by a company. Maybe try signing up for a company that provides free training. Or there are a lot of courses online that gives out certificate of training.

Would you use the desktop as the main then the laptop is just the secondary?

Hi ma'am! Just wanna ask when did you apply for the BIR? Is it after passing the phone cert/live scribe exam? Or it has to be done even before starting the training?

Depends on the job, if you are a scribe usually cameras are on. if admin work usually off camera

Hindi naman po, personal preference lang but super convenient po pag malaki screen/dual monitor
Love you for your coolness. But don't you think that this job is really a tiresome one? If the provider is not on leave then getting leave also will be difficult and have to shadow the provider until he is seeing the patient. We can't even go to pee also if the provider is dictating.
You can ask for a leave and to take breaks when on duty :)

So i have the opportunity to work as a scheduler/scribe but i work now as a PCT and I’m having a hard time choosing between the both. I’m currently getting my masters degree in public health and plan on going for my DrPH.
