Recipe:
4 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
Will cover between- 6 to 8 Large pickles
When making Candied Pickles the recipe does depend on the size of your pickles. If you know you have larger Pickles I would recommend using a larger pot and a larger recipe for full coverage and especially if you’re going to be dipping more pickles.
Recipe: for more pickles
6 cups Sugar
1 1/2 cup Water
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
This recipe will cover more than 8 Large pickles. Between 8-16 Large pickles and again It depends on the size of the pickles you choose. Once you have them Dipped your pickles they should be packaged And refrigerated until served. This particular Treats has In a little bit longer shelf life than most, But the this treat Doesn’t last no longer than 4 - 5 days if you have properly made them.

@@latricearmstrong2877 So like $6 for each pickle?? Or $6 for all 3 of them. thank ya
@@latricearmstrong2877 I’m
I just remember when I was coming up, we use to put a peppermint in the center of our pickles.
Wow, I grew up eating these.
I love this recipe. I would soak my pickles in Kool aid first overnight then do this recipe. Talking about something awesome!!!!
Omg😍😍😍😍 yaasssss
@LBJ over MJ now thats an idea too! Tequila pineapple apple?
Going to try this...I've never had them with candy....
Do you add a little water and sugar to the kool-aid mix? I've heard of this before, and that it's popular, but isn't kool-aid mix sour?
I thought the same thing
I love this.Reminds me of my childhood days.We use to put a peppermint stick inside a big dill pickle. It was delicious.I definately will be making these for my grandchildrens & church youth.
Thank you for sharing
Growing up in Chicago we used to put candy in our pickles! I'm sure this is 🔥🔥
Y'all nasty.. I wanna be nasty wit u.🤩I'm so ready for this!
Same! Nothing like a nowlater in the center of a pickle!!!
Thank you for this video, I just moved from the city to a country area. There’s a lot of people here who sell foods and sweets but nobody makes this! I bought mostly everything you’ve used on your videos. I get my materials delivered this week! Thank you so much. I will update in 2024 on how it’s going ❤
I love the way you give instructions on how to prepare, dip and decorate your goods! Thank you
I love pickles and candy so together I think I will love this. I've got to try to make this. I will let y'all know how it turns out. Enjoying you teaching me new things to make-thank you & God bless.

So delicious thanks for teaching me this recipe.
My pleasure 😊
They look beautiful and super shiny!!!
Thank you ❤️
This is wild I never knew about this kind of snack. Definitely a great explanation on how to make it. I just didn't even know it was a thing.
I would def get these for a party! That would be a good conversation starter and would be fun to see ppl try that had never had them before. They look really pretty. This is a really cool idea. I would def try. I love pickles so much. 😂👍👍💖
OMG!!.. We used to eat pickles stuffed with jolly ranchers here in California when I was younger... Or lemon stuff with peppermint...yummmmm
This is my last week of jury duty, if they don’t call me in, I’m going to try these this week at my store. I’m so excited! I hope I don’t mess up! Thank you for your videos!
Thanks, Ro for yet another awesome video! I tried making them before but I didn’t wrap them in fruit roll-ups but I will next time to see the difference.
I totally understand your pricing. My market isn't as big yet but I charge 5 for them. They are absolutely delicious
How much do you recommend to sell candied grapes, strawberries etc?
She said 16 dollars in a pound weight
I have a coworker i do not like thats afraid of pickles. Perfect video to send to her thank you!
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 yes update
The best video I’ve seen on how to make these…I will definitely be trying them!!!
This is intriguing 🤔😋😋😋
I'm so glad you were able to bring your videos to us without cussing us out in the process.
I'm the Candy Queen in my community and the Kids Will Love This 🎯😜👍🏽THANKS😘
Pickles are in the freezer
Well… How did they turn out? Update please 😋
Какие же умненькие, звиздец....
I love this video for the beautiful creativity of the candied pickle. I also love it because you wore gloves. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Love everything very educational and I lo love you spoke on pricing.
Hey Ro! Omg...candied "Dill" pickles?🤔 Hmmm, I think I'll pass!! LOL🤣 It doesn't sound good to me but they look cool as a cucumber.😂I've heard of a lot of strange combo's that people just love, so to each his own. This was fun to watch. Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!!🤗🥒😜💚
Same here! Didn't sound good to me but I was intrigued, especially since I love pickles but it's not for me.
Reminds me of koolickles. Pickles soaked in kook-aid. Some Ppl love pickles with something sweet. In LA we did pickles with a peppermint stuck in the middle.
I agree! I’m not a fan at all!! But it was requested so I created this for the ones that wanted to learn. They can definitely have this one ❤️☺️
@@YourSweetConnection great for a bachelorette party 🤣🤣
Lmaos this whole conversation answered so many questions. Going to sub.
A candy shop in my area wraps them in cotton candy. I bet this is good and adding the cotton candy on top would be divine.
Beautiful work
Hey Ro!! Beautiful! I have never had a Candied or Kool-Aid pickle before. I will have to try them out. I would love for you to show to do Candied Whole Cherries🍒and Candied Blueberries🙂😍
Walmart used to sell "Koolickles", {Kool Aid pickles}, premade in a jar on the pickle aisle. I'm not sure if they still sell them or not because I prefer to make my own so I can have different flavors since the premade ones only came in 1 flavor.
I never knew you could candy pickle. I love this!!!!!
I can't wait to make these...yummy
Looks so good
I'm the same way i like candy and I love pickles 😍
Thank you for helping me learn new treat ideas
I luv it❤️yess thnk Ms.Ro. Vibrant color as well.
I have only heard of these pickles however I have always have dreamed of trying on at some point.
This gotta taste good 🤤 the koolaid pickle is good too thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing one question when you store it after adding the candy do you refrigerate it or it goes back in the freezer.
I gotta have one or 2 looks yummy
Yo that sounds wild i dont think I’d eat it but they look dope 🤣
I’ve been making these for my business. I only freeze them 1-2 hrs to ensure they do not crack.
Thank you for sharing!!!💯💯💯
I won't lie, sweet pickles make me want to get so sick.
Love the candied pickles
Totally going to try this, I have mastered grapes due to your videos thank you so much.

The pricing you mentioned is completely reasonable.

This is so cool never tried a candied pickle but I definitely want to try these! Thanks so much for sharing! They’re beautiful 🤩
Always ate pickles in my coolaid when I was younger
It actually doesnt seem bad!
Personally I like pickles by themselves but I'd be down to try one sometime, it seems interesting
Great job Ro cause man them things hard to dip😝
Thanks for that pricing tip I was just calculating how much I should charge for them
Thanks Ro
Ro...... you always giving life..thank you for this.
I’m in heaven. How long does it normally take them to fully harden? Do you freeze them to harden?
It doesn’t take long for them to harden they hard and just like you would dip candy apples and yes you will have to freeze them if you’re trying to keep them longer but they only last 24 to 48 hours but if you placed them in the freezer they’re good for a week and a half
Love this recipe ❤. I will be making these. What would be the measurements fir ingredients if i made 2?
If you only doing 2 try using 3 cups sugar, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of light corn syrup
this will cover at least two to three pickles or my half recipe which is 2 cups of sugar, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup of light corn syrup.
yesss thank you so much
You are so welcome!❤️
I've done these and we love them. But yours are so pretty
I may have to try this at home. It looks good. ❤
Theres these really nice ladies who sell these close to where I live in Atlanta! Theyre sOO GOOD!! Consider me a new subscriber
Thanks for subbing and welcome to my channel!❤️
I literally just thought “what if there were candied pickles?” And looked it up to find this video!! Omg!!!😍😍😍 Now I can’t wait to make my own. I didn’t expect to find an actual recipe.
Hello thank you for the tips. My roll up started to melt soon as I started dipping. I froze my pickles overnight so they were completely frozen.
Mines too!!! Omg I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!
I didn't know they had fruit roll ups before they're dipped I just those they were just dipped yummy
You're so creative. This is really weird and looks obscene LOL but if people like it that's all that matters. Thank you for the tutorial!
You’re welcome, yes, the same thing I said if people like it, so be it, I’m not a fan of candy pickles but I do know how to make them and so my job here is to show people how I create them for those that do like them and want to learn the process.
She should’ve saved that defensive comment!
I was a little surprised when I saw the words "candied pickle," but these look really good; gotta try one someday! Thank you for sharing your recipe!
Definitely going to try this with my family!!
Has anyone ate a pickle with a jolly rancher before game changer
These look AMAZING!!!!🎉
I've done them before but they didn't last long. I even put them in the freezer afterwards. But when the melt orcthaw out it's over.
I had the some problem. @faithperkins4357
Wow !… so innovative ✨🔥
These look delicious!!
You’re so talented Ro! I’ve been following you on tiktok for a while and didn’t even know you had a TH-cam channel. I stumbled upon it tonight and have been watching all your videos.
Question: Would it be possible to candy bananas? Maybe freeze them first? Let me know what you think…it might be a silly idea lol, but strawberry candied bananas sound good in my head.
Thank you ☺️
Welcome to my Channel ❤️
And to answer your question I wouldn’t dare dip bananas in candy mixture it would definitely be a waste it item because bananas don’t last too long either but I’m sure someone will probably try it but I wouldn’t because I know they just wouldn’t turn out to be profitable and that will be a waste of product In my opinion. Now for candy strawberries it can be done, but just as a fresh fruit once you dip sensitive fruit it doesn’t last no longer than 3 to 4 days Depending on the fruit you dip.
@@YourSweetConnection Thanks so much for the feedback. I was wondering the same thing.
@@YourSweetConnection is candy making hard
How long do you have to let the mixture boil. I know you said until 300°, but for some reason this my third attempt and it never gets pass 250°. I'm discouraged at this point. I have people asking me to make candid apples, candid grapes and I can't get it right.
Yum thanks for sharing now I want a candied pickle 😂
I tried these for tha first time , I didn’t get it smooth as yours or thick looking but it takes practices. Thank you for the tutorial ❤❤
Love this!
WoW!!! 🤩
These look delicious
That look delicious yummy 😋😋🤤🤤 Chef's
Thank you
Whoa! WHAT IS THAT?!! 😮 🤩
Wow!! I know these are definitely a yummy snack 😍.
Commenting for your algorithms! Looks great!
Why are people so rude in here? If you don't like pickles, obviously this video isn't for you. If you love pickles but don't think the combo would be good without even trying it, that's also fine but no need to be disrespectful. I'm a pickleholic so I'll try anything pickle related that isn't spicy. I'm getting ready to pull my pickles from the freezer now.
Amazing 👀👀👀👀👀😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Your work is amazing
They look soo good pink pickles 😩🥹
What are the blended candies on beneath your pickles at the end of the video? Looks amazing!
good will try to find ingredients to make pickles
what was that coloring you used
You did good
Everybody's so creative
Yum
Best ideal I've seen in awhile
