Here's the thing that people don't get. It U don't buy loads of junk like 14 pants often both parents don't have to work full-time. One can cut down their hours of work and rather than spending all day shopping or organizing junk you can go for a walk or spend time with friends.
I don't believe they cleaned it in one day. It would take at least 3 days for deep clean. Throwing, organising, cleaning wardrobes inside out, cleaning dust, polishing, vacuuming, washing floors, decorating, washing clothes, folding them and so many things to do.... to make it spotless. They either had one week to do it themselves or they got plenty of professional help. Also final decoration looks very professional. They wouldn't do it that way.
Things are different in England. I believe their social structure has failed. And they are hanging on by a thread the way the rest of Europe is. They know they are done. And they are waiting for "the One" to save them from themselves. That would be the big guy, you know, the anti-christ.
I wish people would quit saying that baking soda sanitizes. What a load of malarkey! It's not true about vinegar either, and I keep hearing that one over and over, too.
@@WoodlandPoetry Oh yeah I don’t think baking soda does much on its own. It helps to have an acid to mix in with it, which induces cleaning bubbles that fizzle like crazy.

I truly believe I was raised by a werewolf. When I was in elementary school, our house was relatively clean. We moved to a larger home when I was in 7th grade & that's when reality showed up! Three teenage daughters who didn't have a clue HOW to clean, etc. were left in charge. Our mother decided she was basically done being a mom/wife & started working 3p - 11p Sunday-Thursday so she wouldn't have to be around her family. I remember on Fridays (her day off), she would go to KFC to get a chicken dinner just for herself. She slept during the day & was awake during the night when we were sleeping. We three girls were responsible for the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I say three girls but my oldest sister made it her mission to do as little as possible with every excuse imaginable to get out of everything (& she got away it). Btw, did I mentioned when we moved into the new house, that's when my mother's hoarding tendencies started as well as other negative behaviors, e.g. kleptomania, pathological lying, naracissistic behavior, etc.!! Fun times!!
@@emilytelfer7542 it's all in the parenting; both my parents worked outside the hone once IO was 9, so a responsible only child latchkey kid, and my parents were very strict and held me accountable to high standards, same as for themselves - it CAN be done but not if the parents are scattered, unfocused, maybe even lazy in their priorities. Your mileage may vary. Kim did not demand anything of the family members that was unreasonable.
If the boy got a good haircut, got braces & starting using something for his acne, I'm sure he could find a girlfriend. The family needs a chore board also, so Mom isn't doing all the work.
