Abstract:
At the beginning, the maestro Orozco-Estrada only works with the orchestra: some brief indication on the march. When the singers join (0:03:19), he asks them to explain the plot and to describe the scene to position themselves. At the beginning they have to play clear, articulate and Mozart forte to make it easier for the Count (baritone) to be heard. He corrects dynamics and sound balance of the orchestra. He insists on clear articulation and more delicate and elegant phrasing especially in the endings. Understanding in the change to eighth notes and without so much accent. And at that point, more projection of the baritone is needed. He also corrects some pronunciation of words and clarity in the text of the Countess (soprano). Finally, the director Andrés Orozco-Estrada corrects the character of "Susanna!" What the soprano says ("with meraviglia"), whose accent must also be on the syllable "sa". The ritardando at the end should be more natural.
