You have some amazing sweet potato harvests! What region are you growing in? We're in our second year trying sweet potatoes up here in Oregon, where some folks think we're crazy for trying 😂

@@oliveenowen2659 I'd be talking out of my ear instead of my mouth if I aim to give you the correct answer. However, container potato/sweet potato planing is totally doable everywhere except where the sun does not shine for at least 6 hours a day for 65-120 days. Usually, most sweet potatoes are fully ready to be harvested in 120 days. You choose a sunny spot outdoors after your last frost. You can buy the slips if they are available. But much better if you grow them yourself. So let's say your last frost is end of April, beginning of Feb get a few sweet potatoes, put decent soil in a shallow container, sink the sweet potatoes length wise in the soil, place them in a spot inside like a window where sun comes in and keep them watered. No need to put holes in the shallow container. When the sprouts get to at least 6" you detach them from the main sweet potato. Search my channel and you'll find a video showing how they grow and how I detach and process them for planting in the ground and some in containers (tires). Get at least 5 gallon food grade buckets or grow bags. You have to bore holes in the bucket, but not grow bags. Use good soil, nothing clay or clumpy. Plant them with a good NPK fertilizer with low Nitrogen. You want bulbs not bush. You apply fertilizer about three times and keep them watered. You'll be so pumped when you harvest your first better tasting sweet potatoes. Potato is almost the same process. Long answer, but I hope this helps
