Here's my analysis over claw in general.
As a game designer myself I can see that claw is a great card that has its many pros, and the availability of it usually outweighs it downsides.
The pros of claw are that it is easy scaling damage that works well with infinites and as a common "draw-for -cost" card it has become the staple of its own build.
Now claw does has its downsides and why people begrudgingly dislike it. Those are mainly the low-impact effect 1-2 claws can have, especially in the endgame against bosses like "Fun eater" and "The heart", where each card you play can punish you throughout the combat. Not to mention that claw requires tactful deckbuilding skills which takes time to master.
But that's just the gist of it. Claw scales with your ability to build a deck engine that can cycle and scale both block and damage. So looking at claw is not really "How hard can this card scale with itself?", but more "How can I scale my deck with this claw?" And that is mainly how you should be looking at claw.
Maybe I'm just overanalyzing mega crits concept generation, but overall it is a surefire Secondary staple of the defect and has become iconic amongst the supporters of claw. So overall to it matches the snowballing effect of the defect well and is iconic enough to be easily memeable.
    So... CLAW! CLAW!
    About the video
The highlight content was interesting as well and I like your trying a variety of video formatting now.

@SkylarkGSH Caw CLAWWW! You see that's just the thing, a Claw deck is the epitome of a glass cannon, and that's why they're so much fun! In all the many (many) hours I've played this was the first time I've EVER made a meme-worthy claw deck that stood up to the heart.
The really difficult part wasn't knowing what order to play things in as usual, but rather knowing how many low-cost damage cards I'd need to scale correctly (and to fit with the meme, of course). Because there were plenty of times I could have built a stronger non-clawish block engine, but it would ruin the whole point of CLAW!
Yah it was A0, and yah RNGesus was my best friend, but it still goes down as one of my top favorite runs because every big fight was a contest of "can I do it? Will I draw block at the crucial time?" Those are the runs I really enjoy. I think you'll like one I have coming up as soon as I edit it a bit, I'm not sure my personality is ready for too many hour plus videos.
Another great write-up! Always look forward to your feedback. I'm definitely playing around with a number of different styles of vids coming up, and I'll find holes where content is needed that I enjoy.

the core issue with claw is opportunity cost. it needs multiple copies of a common and a specific rare to shine. which is bad enough but the specific rare you need will cripple you if taken early, and claws are terrible until you do. there are so many better common cards you can take and so many other decks you can pivot if you can't manage to force it. if you fail to force the claw strat you're screwed. it's the quintessential noob trap if your goal like most advanced players' is to get consistent wins, not bang your head against the wall til you get the perfect meme deck.
