You don't need to take that hex grub screw all the way out. It may be stubborn, heat the hex up with a torch or put a hot soldering iron on the grub screw for a little bit and the heat will soften the Loctite. It should come out easy if you turn it while its still hot. You only need to back the grub out like one full turn and the pin should slide out easily with a little push.

I tried lossening mine and that's all I could come up with: heat. Thanks for the help!

Yea I would have needed a real torch for mine. No amount of time with a soldering iron is getting those front grub screws out so I just ordered a set of beefier axles. The assembly will still work if I decide to go back to stock, but I won’t. lol

For the rear kraton hubs, do you use the typhon hex or the kratons?

It's not your worn out tools. I tried every single tool I had, and that includes hobby grade drivers like you have, and even the ones they gave us with the kit, and NOT ONE of them had a comfortable fit in motor adjusting bolts. One is now stripped, and one barely came loose, but didn't strip. What a horrible fit, and I'm thinking they used the cheapest hardware they could find. I have never seen this on any other models, and trust me, I have had a few.
