- Due to crappy weather here, I decided to do a little closer look at the Mojavefied Typhon or Truggified using Mojave parts. This platform makes for a sweet rig and handles so nice! I also included a little montage of just Typhon action from the past year from the stock V4, to the Truggified and Mojavefied setups. The Typhon 6s is such a tough and fast beast and has so many options to customize! HUGE shout out to Arrma and M2C racing!

Awesome seeing the mind of the masters work. I have learned so much from you and duper bash. I have taking my Senton6s V3 and truggyfid it too. With a buggy body. It's so easy to transform your platforms into whatever you want. Arrma is so easy from one too the other too trick out into whatever you want and need for your style of bashing needs. What punch and brake settings do you run on your typhon 6s v4?
I got rid of the stock radio yesterday as the throttle delay was driving me crazy, did you do the same too?
Hmm I think I’ll have to pick up a big bumper for the typhon they look mean, I bet it eloping saves the front a bit too when nose diving.

I put Outcast 6s arms, hubs, links and driveshafts on my truggified Typhon 6s. It's super wide now. Only thing left Typhon is the shock towers and body. I did have to use Rear Mojave EXB shocks all around. Hehe. It's fun to build hybrids 🤣🤣🤣. Good stuff man. Oldie, but goodie

Can you still use the Typhon hubs with the mojove arms and drive shafts? Or do you know if m2C makes an extended hex that would give enough clearance for a2.8 Tire? For shits and giggles I put my 3.8 Badlands on but the inside rim was to close to the hub and probably would rub or hit with big jumps.. the reason I bought my TLR was because of you and Rich duperbash my first was a hoss then after watching you guys I had to have a Typhon and figured the TLR had some strong parts to get started.. definitely going to be adding some m2c parts and hoping I can use there hinge pin blocks on the TLR Typhon just not sure if the chassis is the same as the other Typhon's? Great stuff you and Rich are hands down the most skilled bashers I've seen so far💥💥💥💥💯

Hey question finally got a typhon. it has m2c talion speed chassis pps motor mount basherqueen towers .I had all my arms and drive shafts from my mojave so I put them on. if I got kraton hubs what else do I need?wouldn't the axle be to short since there wider

Looks like a great set up is that RPM wing mounts that you have on the V4 Typhon if so how did you get them to fit did you have to grind them?

Love your rc style !!!! I got a question for you , Why the original purple body was not cut in the back and thoses are cut if they are short bed ones ? Same proline 1:8 ?
This body was cut for when I had it on my Talion. It was a temporary shell for this truck then I went with the Green C10 like in the other vids of this truck. All you really need to cut out is for the wing mount on the short bed.

I finished up ordering a unbreakable c10 Russian body , but its a long bed , well im gonna cut it more .You made me ordered a set of katar for the notorious , i was hesitate between putting mojave arms , driveshaft to narrow the stance and puting some smaller tire witout offset, when i saw your purple power outcast with katar tire , i felt in love instantly :) , so i ordered the tires , anyway its more easy if i want go back on backflip 3.8 . Did you change the shock towers to the kraton ones or did you keep the typhon ones?
do you keep the original typhon rear stabilizer bar?
when installing the mojave arms the rear stabilizer bar protrudes about 2 centimeters per side,
Will it be necessary to change the rear stabilizer bar for the Mojave ones?
I'm using Senton 6s towers to use Senton body mounts. Kraton towers will be too tall for the platform imo.
Hey Eric. What batteries fit the Typhon with stock lid. Do you drill higher mounting hole for the body mounts in rear. 🙏🤘🏻
The body mounts are in the stock place. I'm running Powerhobby 5200 50c packs and they fit snug. A 4500mah pack would probably be better but I do like decent run time! Anything larger than a 5200mah may be too tall for the Typhon body.

Will the Granite BLX diffs work in a Granite Mega, both being 4x4...if change front and rear???your jumps are wicked!
Yeah they will work as long as it's the 4x4 since it's the same chassis, bulkheads etc.👌

Regular Typhon shocks and springs in the rear. Stock oil. The front was the problem so I used Outcast springs.😎👊

Got you was wondering in the videos you said the front were kraton /outcast shocks.. Thats why i asked.. Im trying to build a trugified typhon
The front actual springs are Outcast front springs. Typhon shocks I just changed the springs. Reason for that is the stock Typhon springs are a bit lazy over time. I just adjust the collars up a bit to relieve tension and get the feel I'm looking for.

Hey bud, what wheels are they are on the middle buggy? They look like proline? I was thinking of putting the backflip lps on my truggified typhon but I'm worried they will hit the body
The blue Mojavified? They are Duratrax Lockups in the vid. Great buggy tires! In the thumbnail, I'm running 2.8 Trenchers with 17mm hex. 2.8 tires work great since they have the 1/2 inch offset to keep them from scrubbing.😎👊🤘🤘

What did you use to trim the ears down on the typhon chassis?
A dremel. Just be careful not to take off too much. You still want your droop screws to have contact.

Just a little off the rear ears on the chassis. Enough to allow full droop on the arms.
So you could run a set of 2.8 badlands on the mojified set up?
This one I ran 2.8 Trenchers but the MX 28's Badlands will work also. (17mm hex) If you go Outcast diffs, you can run 3.8's if desired. You also just "truggify" a Typhon with All Typhon but Outcast/Kraton hubs, end axles and hexs. Either way works but the Mojave arms add about an extra inch of width.😎👊

That would work yes!👌Basically a SWB Talion. The Mojave arms are a bit shorter than Talion arms.

Thanks so much my bro!!👊Sounds like an EXCITING build!!🤘IMO Typhon shocks and towers or Senton 6s towers. would be the way to go. The Mojave towers are pretty tall and don't allow much adjustment. The shocks are the same as Outcast with softer springs and thinner oil. Good luck and can't wait to see it!!😍💪🤘🤘

The Typhon has straight cut gears and the Outcast has spiral. The spiral gears will handle more power and bigger tires without stripping. Also the Outcast diffs have a few less teeth.

What's the difference between Typhon and outcast diffs?
The Outcast has spiral cut ring/pinion gears and Typhon has straight cut. The Outcast has a 10 tooth input and Typhon 13 tooth.😎👊

In this truck, I used Senton 6s shock towers and body mounts. Works perfectly but not sure how available those parts are now. I think they disco'd the Senton..😝

3s parts probably won't work on a 6s. Towers especially. You can use Typhon towers just have to engineer body posts. It can be done!😎👊

For a Typhon, all you need is Mojave arms, driveshafts, Outcast/Kraton hubs, end axles and hexes. Not sure on cost but its fairly inexpensive parts!😎👊💪💪🤙
