@@zoeknap9777 in the books yes, they figure that out. In the tv series they have changed the narrative by making Jemmy resemble Bonnet. Jemmy should be a redhead like Brianna and Jaime, but they cast a child with blonde hair to give a different impression than the book. Although, Roger's father was a blonde (in the book at least) so it's not out of the question for that to still be the outcome here.
Roger is a fantastic character, very complex. This scene is not exactly like the book. I am not a big fan of Brianna's character, but Richard and Sophie do portray their characters according to their scripts.
All she had to say was that she would never lie to Roger. She told him the truth of her insecurities but she could never show one inkling of vulnerability around Bonnet.

Roger just isn't as strong and selfless as Jamie. As for Breanna she isn't as smart as her mother either. She is beautiful but she needs to grow up. These two are from the future and should have a better understanding of life from the past and history. but they act like they're oblivious.
In the books it's revealed that Roger is the Jemmy's father, because they had to shave Jemmy's head when he got lice and there was a birthmark there was was identical to a birthmark Roger was born with on his head. I hope they keep that in the series.

Roger never fully grasped the trauma she went through. I haven't started the newest season yet but I'm hoping he got more tolerable.
Yes, watching this scene I want to scream, "You dinnae get it! This is not about you, Roger".
I never liked these characters or their shaky relationship. Roger is very old fashioned and possessive and Brianna is entitled and quick to lash out
I guess that's how they were written in the novel as well
I just cannot get behind these two. They are just not for each other
Do you like Bree better with Bonnett?
Thankfully, you're not the author!
@@SR-iy4gg okay so im not allowed to like a couple together?
I always thought it was such a miracle Jemmy was Rodgers given how it all happened- Brianna explained it-shouldve been Bonnets
He is Bonnets
@@Queen_Springsteen they find out hes actually Rodgers from a birthmark on his head, and he can also travel through the stones

Ummm 🤔 I thought the guy forced himself on her, otherwise why in world would she give 2 fs about giving him comfort before he dies
Roger, nothing ever good comes from alcohol.
I am big big fan of outlander
All she had to say was that she would never lie to Roger. She told him the truth of her insecurities but she could never show one inkling of vulnerability around Bonnet.
This leads to Bonnet coming back into their lives
The relationship between Roger & Brianna in the books is much better
Really wish i could get behind Roger here but I just can't.
Didn't see the episode so I'm basing feelings on just this scene but I understand him and can definitely understand why he'd be hurt/upset.

I still strongly believe Bonnet was the father not Roger .

I see her with Bonnet who is a stronger character. Would love Bonnet to have fell in love with her and gone good.

So guys, here we see a potention person who would be in a toxic relationship
