There are several choices they use gps to make sure your on the job site and allows you to take breaks, or switch to another client even calculates the time and distance traveling!! It's too good!!
They absolutely have that. My fiance's company had everyone install an app on their phones to clock in & out that only works if your location is at the job site. Plus there's GPS tracking on all work vehicles that shows where you go, how long you took, any detours or stops, everything... It definitely weeded out the half-assers and time clock thieves real fast 😂
Don't understand what "the same ink" means. I have a notepad and a cup for pens and gadgets sitting together in my house. When I buy a box of pens, they are all the same ink.
It’s a tactic to get truth out of someone. Notice he didn’t give a reasonable response like you have. He basically blew it off and she caught him in a lie by using the tactic. She’s a judge with very good interrogation skills, so she’s able to shred his credibility in doing so.
Same ink means written at the same time. If you write something at the same time the flow of the ink and writing in general flows together. If you do it over a period of days, the ink and writing will look different from every passage you write.
i believe the defendant did owe him money . if he was such a bad employee , then why did the defendant hire him a second time ? and even the judge said in miami , the contractors dont pay what they agreed to pay and they abuse workers .
I remember one time I had some work done on the house. My older friend of the family is an excellent handyman. So I asked him to come over and do some things. He decided to bring his son, who didn't know too much. Turns out the old man couldn't do any work, so he brought the kid to do the work. Unfortunately, they expected us to pay for both workers. By the hour. I asked him, why would I pay you to supervise, when I could have just paid one guy to do the work? Guess who didn't get paid that day.
I have one pen I keep with my notebook I have one pen I keep near my calendar I have one pen that I keep at my desk I have a box of the same pens that I will rotate if needed so if you question why everything is written in the same ink color...wala 🤣🤣🤣
Being early doesn't mean you get paid for that time. Being flaky does make you unreliable. Sounds like he couldn't do the job properly and not on the defendant.
ALWAYS CYA on time and important stuff with emails to the owner. That same boss that will let you leave 30 minutes early verbally will cut you later down the line if not in writing.
True. In this case, defendant had the proof he did pay him. I don’t think plaintiff was lying, I just think his math was wrong. Especially if he was considering himself clocked in just because he arrived early, or if he thought he got paid for lunch.
but i like this plaintiff . in a world of lazy people who dont want to work , he is out there hustling to get honest work , not hustling doing something illegal , but honest work . he should have won just on that alone .
Any one who can't or won't do the job should not be hired in the first place . I would never have put up with the the smoking , sitting in the truck when the boss is gone or going to the store during work time . The defendant forgot to mention always being late to work !
I think it's kind of crazy that he's got a guy helping him with his roofing work for ten to twelve dollars an hour. I guess I always expected that that would earn a guy more reasonable wages
Like Scott Adams said don't try and help these people nothing good will come from it. He should have hired a Mexican np other race believes in hard work like a Mexican
I was just thinking that watching him walk in. I was always taught to be well dressed. Your appearance shows how you run your life. Sloppy shirt, sloppy business practices. Wearing uniforms, I can say for sure shirts don't always fit, I am in the middle of two sizes, but my larger shirt is neat up front and folded and tucked in the rear. I have been told the Air Force does their shirts the way I do. Some may understand what that means.
the plaintiff looks at least as old as the defendant, and should not try to play that card lol also thinking race has something to do with this case might say more about you than "the system" JM might be a lot of things but I would never think she is racist
Preponderance of the evidence! Defendant had it, Plaintiff did not. Don’t make this something it isn’t! There’s enough REAL stuff to worry about without making up things in your head!
We Need an app for contractors so they can clock in and the location will verify you’re at the site
I'm sure one exists

Fitbit got a guy out of a murder charge!

What is a pen? lol. - a pen typically lasts me a couple years, so there are alot of “same ink” instances

Yet she was correct. What’s your response to that?
This is why you should always keep a ledger of all the hours you performed. Otherwise, it's all loosey-goosey.
It's a HUGE red flag if a company/boss doesn't have a decent timekeeping payroll system
Loosey-goosey is the technical term, after all. 😆😏💛
The defendant needs better book keeping / time keeping because if he had better records this case would be done in less than 5 mins😂
Maybe if he puts the meth down. He can get organized!
Tyrone walked in like someone owes him money🤔😅😂🤣

I have also been known to transfer a bazillion notes onto one piece of paper.

Exactly that's another excellent point you made!!
I do the same texting my S.O. thing! I’m a nanny and everytime I arrive and leave work I text him so I have a record of my hours
Being early doesn't mean you get paid for that time. Being flaky does make you unreliable. Sounds like he couldn't do the job properly and not on the defendant.
Being early doesn't make one unreliable. Maybe there are transportation issues. Not everyone has a car.
first time i ever heard an employer complain about an employee being early .
ALWAYS CYA on time and important stuff with emails to the owner. That same boss that will let you leave 30 minutes early verbally will cut you later down the line if not in writing.
Did that announcement say the defendant stiffened him on his pay? I listened to it 3 Xs and that's what it sounds like. Lol 😆
The defendant should have had a better way for his worker to sign in like a time sheet or something. And as well as the plaintiff.
You have to be paid for ALL hours worked by the wage act law. The remedy if you as a boss are unhappy is to fire an employee but you have to pay them.
True. In this case, defendant had the proof he did pay him. I don’t think plaintiff was lying, I just think his math was wrong. Especially if he was considering himself clocked in just because he arrived early, or if he thought he got paid for lunch.
All the plaintiff is going to play the stupid card
Any roofers watching this, won’t make the same mistake as the defendant did and hire this guy.
but i like this plaintiff . in a world of lazy people who dont want to work , he is out there hustling to get honest work , not hustling doing something illegal , but honest work . he should have won just on that alone .

Wow, he tried to give the guy and hand up not a hand out and look how he treated him. But then again, he doesn’t seem to be playing with a full deck.
They deserve each other and I haven’t watched the whole episode

Plaintiff has beautiful eyes
5:30 The Defendant has Summer teeth.
Summer here, summer there.
😂😂😂
Nether, poor decision she could’ve helped the guy out chose not to
where does RENTING A WECK come into play in this video huh ?
Really....162 dollars
56?? Wow... Looking better than most 35 year olds!
Too bad he sounds like a 5yo
I think it's kind of crazy that he's got a guy helping him with his roofing work for ten to twelve dollars an hour. I guess I always expected that that would earn a guy more reasonable wages
If he was so bad, why wasn't he let go?
Exactly.
I know a few contractors that would hire his wife in an instant !!
TH-cam by now you should know I don't answer questions.....
They used this title for another episode
The defendant doesn't have enough proof. Sounds like instead of talking to the plaintiff about things he just assumed.
No more after the verdict?
The Plaintiff was running on CPT( if you know you know)
Like Scott Adams said don't try and help these people nothing good will come from it. He should have hired a Mexican np other race believes in hard work like a Mexican
Bad decision. He can fire the employee, but he has to pay him.
The defendant is my cousin
Wow
Why do American men wear shirts 10 sizes too big? 🙄

the plaintiff is a character,
n the defendant is a liar.
$10-$12! Ken isn't there.
I figured Milian would rule as she did. Yet another black man done wrong by the system. Really sucks man..
Should rename yourself to Adrian Princess
Can't smoke and pee on the ground and must be able to handle the labor. That being said, I don't think the plaintiff had enough proof.
JM has ruled in favor of many, many people of color. Plaintiff didn't have any proof, period. Not everything is about racism.
