I did the first truck - TAMIYA MERCEDES AROCS 3348 TIPPER TRUCK with the MFC 3 and the actuator - found it to be a great build experience!
That is one beautiful truck. This hobby is very addictive.

I have the radio that you showed in the book. There is no antenna monted on the truck It's a 2.4 hrz radio

I got the Volvo Tow Truck. Same with the leds too short. To supply them and THEN state they are too short and need to buy longer ones is a hell of a rip-off. Also the actuator and MFC kits are priced sky high. I bought it all though.
I am genuinely battling to figure out how this truck is double the cost of say a Grand Hauler or Scania 620? If it had the actuator set included it would make perfect sense but £800 for the truck alone seems excessive. Looking forward to the build though.

nice truck i know but why not the open door version,hercules and toucan deliver the scania and actros with openinged doors and interiorfloor and scania have ned with pillow

I also bought the MB Arocs 4151 based on your video. Now I have a problem with two parts. In section 79 the two parts "Y14" are assembled. But later it is not shown anywhere whether and where these parts are attached, neither in the operating instructions for the 4151, nor in the operating instructions for the tilting drive ACU-01.
Can you tell me where these parts go exactly, or give me a picture of them? I've got everything else done, but those two levers are driving me crazy!!!

Those flip up to hold the bed in the up position if you do not use the electric actuator set.

Wishful thinking, but anyone wish Tamiya would make metal rc’s of their trucks 🤔. I’ve some what turn to what China has to offer. Companies like Lesu has some good looking ones.

I need to use the MFC-03 in this one because I also want to shoot the Flysky and MFC-03 operation video while I am doing it. Will do a full truck with SFR-1 soon.
