Phillips-flathead combo. The vast majority of people out there they have only one or two screwdriver type, and they are these two. Experienced builders and folks that little to screw around, will have other driver types like torx, or multiple driver kits like those sold by ifixit for example. Thankfully they are not JIS screws...
I would have watched it if it wasn't for that head banging crap that people seem to like for what ever reason that has absolutely no meaning about it. And people seem to turn around and like hearing that crap banging away in their heads while watching this video.

It is not hard to assembly, painting can be tricky but therefor are prepainted rc trucks available from Tamiya 😉
