ABANDONED and VANDALIZED Property gets Makeover | Extreme Overgrown Lawn Transformation

- Welcome to Biglin Lawn Care! Today's transformation is the biggest property I've done so far! According to the neighbors it has been abandoned for over 15 years and has been vandalized multiple times. I'm cleaning up this property to deter anyone from vandalizing this property any further and to attract future potential buyers.
First I removed all of the wasps nests, then I started removing the overgrowth and vines off of the house. There was a large amount of dead branches to be removed as well that were left behind by the previous person who did some trimming. Then I mowed the lawn. The property is 5.7 acres, but the backyard is uncleared woods, so I just mowed the front 3 acres. Lastly, I painted the graffiti on the front of the house and removed the dirt and overgrowth from the pavement next to the house.
This job took me four days and three trips to the landfill to complete, but the finished product looked amazing! Hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it!

I cannot say how impressive the job you've done here is... it is such a beautiful piece of property now. You've not only mowed the yard, cleared the limbs and pruned the trees.... but cleared the roof, and painted over the graffiti, and it even looks like you straightened/fixed the window. Amazing, simply amazing. I hope you can share this with the real estate company, since you've shown what potential this property has. I'm very happy to see your work again.

How kind you are! The worst part of aging is not being able to do many things that you could just five years earlier. It costs a fortune to have people come to do things for you. Our minds are still sharp and we don't want to give up our autonomy and independence. Aging sucks. And we no longer live near our extended (or even nuclear) families to help us, as my parents taught me to help care for elderly grandparents and aging aunts and uncles, as well as my own parents.
I hear you on the aging and unfortunately I don't have extended or core family to help. I do what I can do even if it is 30 minutes at a time. My income doesn't extend to paying for professional services.
@@kyralaebredi1264 I was ill-advised to buy my home in an HOA. I had to hire a lawyer to get them to stop the harassment, banging on my door, requiring me to make renovations and upgrades no neighbor has had to do. I did have to hire a gardener because no matter how much work I did on the yard, it was never good enough. NEVER buy in an HOA.
I get you on the aging. My SIL used to do for me until he has a stroke now it all he can do to take care of his lawn. I was lucky to find a lawn care provider 4 years ago and he has never raised my price and helps me in any way he can. I'm lucky in the summer when my granddaughter is home from school she does what ever she can.
@@beverlyroyal9838 I grew up in a large multi-ethnic family. I miss the mess, the infighting, squabbles, the gossip. But most of all, I miss the knowledge that there was help from family when you needed it.
I agree 1000% with your comment. I moved back to my childhood home to care for my dad until he passed. And even though the outside looked good (had a great lawn care guy) The house itself was old and outdated and I just didn't have the resources to upgrade things. I don't have guilt for letting the house go but I most likely won't ever go back to visit. I was blessed with a good childhood and it's too painful to see what's become of it.
Unfortunately, you don’t post these as often as everybody else but when you do… It is well worth watching!!! Anyone else who is not seeing you need to check out your “Aquaman “job of doing it in the rain and shoveling sod off of cement!!

Fantastic job. Hope you let the real estate broker know it's now sellable. Suggestion - use tarps to carry away branches, grass, etc. instead of making so many trips, and put the wheel barrow closer to you and move it with you instead of walking back and forth. You must be exhausted doing unnecessary walking. As someone once said, "work smarter not harder".

You went so far, and above the call of duty, you were in a different universe. I would love to be able to take on the whole property. It would take a long time an dump trucks rather then trailers. I know it would be a daunting task, but since I'm disabled, I dream big. Bravo to you young man.

I was very impressed with your hard work on this property! You went above and beyond.....painting over the gratfitti, cleaning off the roof, cutting the tree branches hanging down on the roof, trimming the trees and, above all, the hard work you did on that pavement! Amazing job! I hope it will deter any further damage from vandalism. With love and some much needed work this could be a wonderful home for a family. Heroic extras: Getting branches off the roof; raking litter mat off the roof area. Like the move to paint over the graffiti. The house/yard is progressing to where we can see that it was once beloved and a well-thought-out style for a Southern area.

Wow, im soooo happy I found you today! First off, you are the real deal, I say this because first, you aren't splashing about what you are doing, rather you are just simply doing! You then took on a massive job and ROCKED it!! Then you did something that made me smile ear to ear, you painted over that damn graffiti that I hate to see so much! This poor house appears to be falling apart...lots of roof damage and cracks in the structure of the house...was holding my breath while you were on the roof for fear you might fall through. So sad to see these abandoned houses get covered with overgrowth and begin to rapidly deteriorate. Beautiful setting and much of these can probably be easily repaired.
