Namco really need to do a collector's edition compilation of RR. I don't care how much it costs. All the games in their original forms. Then updated versions. Imagine this at 120fps 4k. And loads of artwork and all the soundtracks. Just a beautiful series.
I bled from my eyes when I saw that Tempete GP on Lake Side Gate, honestly if I had watched you play this when I was a kid I would've considered you a holy being. Amazing vid.

Just downloaded a PS1 emulator and the game and damn it brings some good memories. I would give everything to be 5 years old again spending the whole day in front of the TV playing this game, Crash Badicoot and many many more and watching Cartoon Network... Man those were the times! Not worrying about anything just enjoying life. :)

And...I really difficult to say...I doesn't like R4. Because take too much time to 100% complete. And in my personal opinion, but cannot understand the physics engine.
I noticed that the announcers of both Rage Racer and Ridge Racer Type 4 can be very rude if your lap time is slower, with them saying "I can walk faster than that, get going!" and "My grandma drives faster than that!", respectively.
@@enzoalec92 near the starting line is two hotels named hotel toypop, further along is a cafe named cafe de pac, the buildings on the coast have zakato (xevious) and clovis (dragon buster) on them. The other games feature Namco owned chains like wonder city, Italian Tomato, and even wonder eggs (the same theme park from Xiaoyu's stage in Tekken 3)
Nice driving! I do have a question though - Does the Esperanza have anything going for it over the Alouette? I'm coming back to this game for nostalgia's sake, and the Esperanza was my go-to car as a kid.

Ah, that's very easy method. The following these steps. * It cannot be used in the Automatic Transmission * 1. During the countdown, hold the Accel & Brake simultaneously. 2. When the signal turns green, Shift-Up to the highest gear(4, 5 or 6), and then release the Brake. 3. REACH THE MAXIMUM SPEED!!! ...But this method is slightly different at each cars / grades. The some cars are not be able to shifting to the highest gear, and some cars are needs to be adjust the spacing of the Shift-Up. So, I recommend to practice hard in all 13 cars! [List of easy car of Fast-Start] Esperanza / Erriso(Alouette) / Abeille / Acceron(Instinct) / Bayonet: All Grade 5 Vanquire(Victoire) / Squaldon(Dragone)
Just found your video and I can't help but ask: Would you have been able to win in Class 6 at Mythical Coast and Lakeside Gate with the Age Alouette just as you did at Overpass City?
I know I'm 2 years late, but the answer is that it's a lot cheaper to upgrade the Alouette through the classes than it is to buy the Pegase. With Fatalita's skill, he's able to more than make up for the slight stat deficit of the Alouette.
That hill climb with the waterfall always brings back memories and I don't know why. It was just a awesome track design

Never underestimate the Alouette. It's small, but it's the best car in the game once you tune it up!

I would give everything to be 5 years old again spending the whole day in front of the TV playing this game, Crash Badicoot and many many more and watching Cartoon Network... マシンの当たり判定がバグってて実質的な道幅が半分くらい
そしてドリフト中に減速しまくるのもストレスだった、この動画でも非力な序盤はグリップがメインだし
今見るとサンプルデカールにエスコンのスカーフェイスのマークがある！
ＣＧ表現を高めるためにＲ4ではnamcoが独自に開発したツールで制作していたらしい。ってことは初代のツールではこれが最高峰やったんやろな・・・（´ω｀）
