@Daveyboy_GolfR a few things. In 72-73 Wilt was 36. Also in the 60s, Wilt lost 4 series against the all star Celtics 4 games to 3 by a combined total of 9 points. Thinks about that. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
The nba did everything in their power to stop wilt from scoring. Unlike Jordan who they did everything to help. So wilt quit and became a hall of fame volleyball player instead, an actor and a body builder that could out lift Arnold Schwarzenegger
Wilt was playing against inferior talent. He was taller at 7:1, and heavier than everyone else at almost 300lbs, and stronger than everyone else. Yet 6:10 only 225 lbs, Bill Russell took advantage of him, and beat him every time. Wilt was a great athlete who played basketball. He wasn't a great scorer outside of a few feet from the basket. Moreover he was a loser. Bill Russell took advantage of Chamberlains mindset to be an ISO player. When Wilt decided to stop scoring so many points, and concentrated on playing team basketball, and just rebounding and rim protecting, while letting West, Goodrich, and McMillan do most of the scoring, that's when he won only his 2nd and final NBA championship. Rick Barry called Chamberlain a loser. Wilt's record against Russell during the regular season was 37-57. His record against Russell in the post season against Russell was 20-29. He won his 2nd and final championship after Bill Russell retired. I just can't forget how the NY. Knicks embarrassed Chamberlain in game 7 of the 1970 finals, defeating him after Knicks starting center, Willis Reed only played 27 minutes, and only scoring 4 points because of an injury. The Knick's back up centers did a great defensive job on Wilt, holding him to only 21 points, though Chamberlain played all 48 minutes.

It's amazing the Wilt was able to score like that considering he's one of the worst shooters in the history of the NBA (he shot only 50% on free throws for his career which is the same as Shaq). Good grief if he had been a good shooter what the hell would he have done??! The guy basically couldn't score outside of 3-5 feet yet still dominated.
@@Red-gc6dw He most certainly was NOT a good shooter at all and he couldn't shoot consistently outside of 3-5 feet. Him and Shaq have the worst free throw percentages in history at 50%. The proof of Wilt Chamberlain's dominance in his eara is how many times you saw his face. I'm pretty sure he had a game with every number in the 60s

@@BallersDataLabofficial Here's proof that the NBA and Wilt LIED about that FAKE 100 point game.. Think that I'm trolling??? lmao well explain this, The most points by a NBA player starting the THIRD QUARTER is shared by Klay Thompson & James Harden with 60 points. History has it that Wilt had 59 points at Halftime, so in order to score 100 points Wilt would've had 79 points by the start of the FOURTH quarter.... So why NBA history DOESN'T ACKNOWLEDGE THIS?? cuz it NEVER HAPPEN . NOW GO DO A VIDEO EXPLAINING ONE THE GREATEST HOAXES EVER . remember you heard this first from me, so give my props. Wilt was a monster. I still can't believe Russell dominated that era, instead of him.

WILT CHAMBERLAIN'S 100 POINT GAME NEVER HAPPEN, AND I CAN PROVE IT..... EASILY
Defense matters, teammates matter
Klay scored 60 in 29 min. Playing only 3 quarters.
Yes :)
That’s a ridiculous achievement.
Most of wilts scoring happened in 30-35 minutes as well. He sat out a great deal.
@@jefftaylor1186 Was Wilt under the basket or at the three point line?
@@PurpleChurch
The fact that you don’t understand that the three-point line didn’t exist back then means you’re probably like 12 and your argument therefore will be moot regardless of what you say.
But yeah, wilt had the handicap of only being able to score twos because the three didn’t exist. So yeah Clay had a little easier time doing it because his baskets counted for one extra point.
Surprised LeBron is even on here. 🤭🇺🇸👍
He was if u payed attention
Wilt's dominance was so, so great that people think it's a lie or that he really played against workers. Wilt felt sorry for his rivals, that's why he's not the GOAT, he lacked MJ's killer instinct.

Klay Thompson Scores NBA Record 37 POINTS in a Quarter! :)
Didn't Mitchell drop 71 aswell 🤔

LUKA DONCIC DROPS 73 PTS, 10 REB, 7 AST IN MAVS 148-143 WIN OVER THE HAWKS 🚨
FOURTH MOST PTS IN NBA HISTORY 🤯
Joel Embiid ERUPTS for a CAREER-HIGH 70 PTS & 18 REB as the 76ers beat the Spurs!
Karl Anthony Towns EXPLODES for a CAREER-HIGH 62 PTS & 10 THREES but the Timberwolves STILL LOSE to the Hornets 128-125! 😱
Weird, given wilts history, I can't believe he never got 69.....well on the court anyway
Thanks my friend :)
Wilt got on there 31 times
Thanks :)
That many 60+ games is insane...
@lestonclark2398 he played on 12 minute quarters & no one in the league was tall enough to block him, so yes ofc he scored like crazy lol
@@youngbricksyg266your argument holds no water.
@dwainsellers6453 lmao yes it does, he played twice as long as jordan, bird, kobe, Bron, Steph, etc. & was the tallest player in the league, no one else was tall enough to gaurd him, ofc he was gonna put up crazy numbers. Put him in the 80s & 90s where he would've actually has to face mfs tall enough to guard him, & he was only playing 6 minute quarters, he wouldn't have been that dominant
Why is T-Mac all GQ Smooth in his pic😂

Crazy Kareem was the highest scorer for 38 years and he's not here

What’s crazy is wilt didn’t have another 80 point game despite having 100 in a game. With it also being an iconic round number, the basketball gods must have been at work that night.
1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.

Or hear me out, he played 4 12 minute quarters against a team that didn't have anyone over 6'11
The nba did everything in their power to stop wilt from scoring. Unlike Jordan who they did everything to help. So wilt quit and became a hall of fame volleyball player instead, an actor and a body builder that could out lift Arnold Schwarzenegger
How about Joe Fulks tho

Wilt was playing against inferior talent. He was taller at 7:1, and heavier than everyone else at almost 300lbs, and stronger than everyone else.
Yet 6:10 only 225 lbs, Bill Russell took advantage of him, and beat him every time.
Wilt was a great athlete who played basketball. He wasn't a great scorer outside of a few feet from the basket.
Moreover he was a loser.
Bill Russell took advantage of Chamberlains mindset to be an ISO player. When Wilt decided to stop scoring so many points, and concentrated on playing team basketball, and just rebounding and rim protecting, while letting West, Goodrich, and McMillan do most of the scoring,
that's when he won only his 2nd and final NBA championship.

Kobe never scored 61 points in a game
This Day in History: Kobe Bryant drops 61 points at MSG in 2009
On Feb. 2, 2009, Kobe Bryant set a then-record with his 61-point effort at Madison Square Garden.
What year did Kobe score 61 points?

If someone scores 60 this shows his selfishness.
okay , Thanks my friend :)
Wilt chamberlain got 21 assists in a single game. Also 55 rebounds in a single game. If they get 21 assists, u can't call them selfish, even if he does have more 60 point games than anyone else

Thanks :)
Wilt was a great shooter... He had a jump shot. Fun fact his go to shot was his fadeaway. But for some reason Wilt couldn't make free throws.
Thanks my friend :)
@@Red-gc6dw He most certainly was NOT a good shooter at all and he couldn't shoot consistently outside of 3-5 feet. Him and Shaq have the worst free throw percentages in history at 50%. There are grade school children that can shoot better than either one of them. Watching them shoot frankly was laughable.
Wilt is the GOAT!!!
