Belt drive? It's a shaft drive. It's missing the exhaust heat shields on the silencers. Tank is not original paint. Not original mirrors or indicators. Mind you it's still a very nice bike, my dad did everything on his. It's comfortable in every situation from fire trails to windy mountain passes. I'll restore it one day
Hi mate the bike has been sold there's nothing Dodgey going on I've explained to you the plate in the other video, it has been Irish registered and been through the VRT it was sold with a 1988 Dublin registered plate now please stop with your conspiracy nonsense
@@RetroBikesDublin you didn't explain it very well at all. You didn't explain why you were riding a bike around in public with the reg belonging to another bike. Don't you know that this is illegal? If you don't know this, then you're in the wrong job mate.
Why didn't you get the bike through the vrt first, then put the 88D plate on and then you would have been riding the bike legally. I said at the beginning that I found it confusing that an 18 plate was on a 1988 bike. All you did was fob me off with some rubbish. You are the one talking nonsense mate.

Very nice bike. A bit confused with the reg. 1988 bike on a 18 plate?
Check again my frien
It's 1988 have a look again 😉
@@RetroBikesDublin AK18XFV is the reg on this bike in the ad. This is a 2018 reg my friend 😉 a uk 1988 reg would be on either an E or an F plate.
Any particular reason why this bike would have a 2018 registration plate? I would love to know anyway.
Was brought over from Germany of you listen in the vid so was probably registered in the UK in 2018
