6" to 12" is going to rob you of intimacy.... 4 to 6 in will give you something lush tht everybody can enjoy... Yes, I know what I did there, and it's absolutely factual!
I have a shure sm58, with no mic stand cuz it broke. I find it better recording exile holding the mic, because I can't stand up and walk while recording if I want
You can connect bluetooth headphones to your RØDECaster, but just be aware that you won't be able to use your headset mic. Additionally, using Bluetooth headphones instead of wired headphones adds some latency which can cause issues if you'd like to use the unit's near zero latency monitoring to monitor your mic in your headphones.
Hey Jennie, there are lots to choose from out there. We love Ableton Live, Reaper and Logic Pro, but you should watch some videos online about the different options which are out there and find the one that suits you best 🙌

@@rodemic Please. Don't get me wrong, I have tried Rode NT1+ Ai kit. Great kit with cool engineering with that spider holder and pop filter. But overall it wasn't good enough for that price. As you know there are very many akg c12 and very cool Neeuman microphones that is just The Best overall in any studio in the world. And my question is - why you have so many microphone iterations that music community not using in general. What is the best rode microphones that is really a studio level competitor?
My Rode nt1a has a low base noise, I contacted but there's no response from distributor. They just ask me to wait. Now it's almost one year. Can you help me. It's under 10 year warranty. Can you solve my problem?
@rodemic I took the Rode box, and I cut 2 holes into it for the XLR cable, and that box is my broom right now, hehe. My mic stands there in magnanimity.
Why record at a slight angle when you're already using a pop filter and are 6 - 12 inches away from the mic? I've never had issues with plosives within those parameters/guidelines. Even then, if you're somehow still getting plosives, I'd recommend double checking your equipment and gain, then trying some breath control exercises before going of axis slightly possibly adding off axis color which can't be removed in post processing. PS - Love you RØDE!!!
I need her in my studio ☺️ I have a lot of Rode products…like the RodeCasterProII, Rode NTG, Rode Wireless Go, and many more.
I also need her in my studio, but not my music studio...
@@mrz.3so you can show her your little shrimp? 🍤 cute lil boy

I have a question about the rodecaster duo can I connect my wireless headset (turtle beach stealth pro) by the usb dock or via Bluetooth

@rodemic which headphones do you recommend for zero latency, a wired headset? Or is there a wireless bluetooth headset that will avoid latency?
I have one, and sounds great
What's the interface you using ?
The AI-1!
Ableton live gang 😎
What app should I use?

Want to understand the whole point of road mic lineup NT1, 2,3,4,5 gen's; nt1a. Like does it difficult to make one good microphone?
Should Apple have stopped with the iPhone 3G?

What's the name of that broom that is holding the mic 🎤 😮
It's just a generic microphone stand, plenty of great options available on Amazon!

what db do you want it hitting as a max when tracking?
Usually, it shouldnt go above -6dB! (But that’s just a generalization, of course)
What programs are you using?
Ableton Live 😊

The DAW being used is Ableton Live 😄
