first cell phone with a cam was made in 99. I think BCS takes place around 2002 but yeah, it wasn't too common

For all the people who think this show is slow, this is not the show for you. You need to be able to appreciate nuances and well-written dialogue. Not every show needs to have pointless violence and surprise/shock setups every 5min to be a great show.

The colour code on better call saul: cold colors mean that person is good or at least seems good and innocent, the coldest the goodest. Warm colors mean person is bad or doing a bad thing. Keep an eye for that
The only time we saw Jimmy in Breaking Bad was his last scene where he was waiting to leave in the bunk with Walt and he told Walt it was over.

I didn’t hear anyone say anything about and can’t tell if I’m just wrong or if it was too obvious to even mention but I was always under the impression that Mike didn’t press charges against Jimmy because he knew who Nacho was. As soon as Jimmy mentions Nacho Mike says he doesn’t wanna press charges anymore. Just a thing a thought was interesting. And then later he played it off as “thinking jimmy was right” even though he probably wasn’t even listening to that.
Note that Jimmy did not call the police - he called HHM (Kim) instead. The police are still in the dark.

For those newbies to the show, you are gonna like Kim. Yeah, I guess "f*** buddies" is a plausible description of their relationship, but they are really good friends, and you'll see how much she cares for both McGill brothers as the show progresses. But the greatest thing about that character (and this is a thing with the casting of Vince Gilligan shows like this one and BB) is that she is almost like a typical person you'd meet in real life; in that the actress (Rhea Seehorn) might not have the expected glamorous looks and sexy personality you'd expect an actress to put into a character, but rather a down-to-earth relate-able look and personalty; plus a drive to self-succeed, and not be just Jimmy's love interest.

To those who think this show is slow: why don't you go see some kiddie marvel flick while the adults talk.
Oi, easy there. Slow still doesn't mean bad.
It's most likely because people are quick to compare this with Breaking Bad. The funny thing is: Season 1 of Breaking Bad was pretty slow, too! At least in comparison to the big badass seasons 3 to 5.
It's just that fans usually remember Br Ba as this action packed crime thriller while forgetting all the quiet and thoughfull, dialogue heavy scenes that made most of the OG show's core.
And... may be in this case, is mostly because they're still fresh from El Camino and BrBa Season 5.
I don’t get why people are take at Marvel when people complain about more nuanced shows being slow. Granted, Phases 4 & 5 of the MCU were 45% good at best, but this comment was made not long after the Infinity Saga which gave us spectacular cinema with one of the biggest crossover stories gradually built up across 11 years. It’s cool to like superhero films AND the Breaking Bad universe.
