I first logged into Roblox in 2017 on my Roblox account from two of my old elementary school friends talking about it in 5th grade. I did not even know what to expect but I remember the obbys, playing the high school game and doing a lot of fun stuff. I lost that account in the same year due to me losing the password I had wrote down for it but then I made a new account in 2018. So many memories from it but it got terminated in 2021. Then, I made a third account in that same year but logged out because I just lost interest in Roblox and decided to move on with life. Honestly, It is. I shed a tear since I used to play work at a pizza place, or explore egg hunts, all that gone by. Time moves forward and never stops. It’s good to look back at the past and see how far we’ve come.

Then, I made a third account in that same year but logged out because I just lost interest in Roblox and decided to move on with life. Now, I just look back to remind myself of when I felt happy and alive. I'd honestly do anything just to see my old self again.

2019 was such a good year tho. not just for roblox but the whole year overall. i remember listening to old town road and the box on the radio everytime i go to the store with my fam :). in the summer, i went to my neighborhood pool and swam with my sister. i would also go to the neighborhood basketball court and play pickup with friends. bro i just wanna cry so badly

People always say old roblox was terrible, "You dont miss old roblox, you miss being happy". While thats kind of true, it isn't really. Today's games have no soul, just 37 gamepasses and pedophile developers, back then everything was lively and the games while being low quality, they all had soul in them like art and they had awesome communities, you could talk to everyone and make friends there so easily now you say hi to someone and they insult you and the last 7 generations of your family, i miss seeing the mindless guests running around doing their own thing, and another thing is that i wasnt so thrilled to get robux back then as i am now, because back then you didnt need robux just to breathe or to be judged for your free avatar, now EVERYTHING is dependent on robux.
You make a very good point, Old roblox acutally was more focused on good fun games, as time goes on it starts to become more greed and greed devolepors rather than games being made for acutal fun. Of coruse theres still good creators but they are lowing ):
@@noahniskala yes! i did some more research and i find how much money roblox makes each year, before 2019 they werent making much but 2019+ they were making racks, this is likely because roblox favors those cash grab games like simulators because they make more money, and they dropped the soul that roblox used to have for the corporate wasteland we have today

Honestly, It is. I shed a tear since I used to play work at a pizza place, or explore egg hunts, all that gone by. Time moves forward and never stops. It’s good to look back at the past and see how far we’ve come.

I remember all of this (well most of it) because I'm a early 2018 player, Roblox really fell in late 2019. I miss the old GUI, I miss everything, thank god there is retrostudio and a 2016-2018 emulator.
