Steve is a stand up guy, him and Shamrock were underrated.

When Steve was talking about slamming his head on the ring I winced. That’s pretty scary how much wrestlers probably crack their heads on the ring or chair shots etc. Very scary.

Benoit used to be a good guy; he never snitched on people.
In certain situations that's real though, even in the corporate world a snitch sucks.
I still never understood why Marc Mero was rude to Steve on the news.
Blackman would've beat Marc to death.
Failed gimmick + being upstaged by his wife = bitter.

Mark got a big money contract. So he was making a lot more than Austin, Foley and others. I think that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

all honesty you gotta remember when Nancy and Kevin Sullivan were married it seemed their marriage was a somewhat violent one & that carried over to her marriage to Chris. Not saying she was asking for it by any means but if Nancy did end up smacking Benoit in the face or something for one reason or another, in the mental state he was in at the time, thats definitely the reason that he snapped & killed her.
I never understood why people think Kevin Sullivan killed them yea she left him for Benoit but this happen 7 yrs after she did why wait that long if he was going to kill them it was also discovered that her and Benoit weren’t as happy of a couple as it seemed they were always fighting and she was going to divorce him so I’m guessing he just snapped I wish people would just accept Benoit did it and let him rot in hell
It would be nice to see Steve Blackman do 1 more hardcore match when he would go to work on his opponent with kendo sticks I remember growing up seeing Victory after victory by the lethal weapon from his hardcore matches if wwe hasn’t inducted him into the hall of fame yet they should

Legit badasses of wrestling are Steve Blackman, Brock Lesnar and Ken Shamrock.
I don't know how much he was really made an impact in wrestling, but I'd throw Dan Severn in there, as well as a whole host of Japanese pro wrestlers who were also MMA fighters, like Kazushi "The Gracie Hunter" Sakuraba.
Sakuraba, Severn, Angle, Gable, Riddle and others are certifiable as well. I'm sure there's some obvious ones I'm missing
Angle destroyed Brock in real life during a shoot wrestling match. People would’ve been more afraid of him than Brock. Brock is big for nothing but had no stand up, hence how he got destroyed twice in the UFC at the end.
@@Zozo_Malphas Angle is tough alright but he ain't tough enough to get in the cage. Brock would fold him in a real MMA fight.
@@Zozo_MalphasDestroyed him? He never destroyed him, stop trying to bullshit. They had a shoot and angle scored a single takedown and it was over. Angle himself puts Brock over with just how strong and fast he was and said he by no means beat him easily. A single take down. If you want the real story, it's best listening to Angle himself and not some random misinformation online.

It's crazy how he looks the same
I've had two concussions, ever. One in ice hockey, one in boxing. The one in ice hockey was particularly notable because I couldn't even stand up on my skates without falling in 2-3 seconds, the whole ground seemed on waves. Boxing was similar, got smashed, literally saw batman-like star bursts, and then next thing I know I'm laying on the other side of the mat, my feet like 1-2 meters back from where I remember being and everyone watching with a "Holy f***!" expression on their faces. Note, it was at heavyweight, but I was closer to 95kg, while my opponent was around 110, mostly muscle, around the same height as me (about 195). They're not fun, I can only imagine the damage having 25+ of them.
AH, 2007! I was about to say that Steve Blackman ages better than any wrestler I've ever seen.

How on earth can you be surprised that Marc Mero is bitter?! Was signed to the WWF but Vince from day one was eyeing up his wife who was never involved in the business before. Then pushed her at his expense, humiliating him in doing so. And then to top it all off his wife cheats on him with another wrestler (Lesnar).

Respect more of Steve Blackman. He talked that he suffered like Benoit did but Benoit did more damage to himself.
Many cannot watch a Benoit watch cause of what he did.
I can say i can watch a match of his knowing the damage these guy and others like him put themselves thru.

I’m gonna say Abdullah the Butcher. Dude I was like 12 when Nancy was The Fallen Angel with Kevin Sullivan. She left quite the impression on me as a young man. She was absolutely beautiful. Tragic how it all went down. What a waste.
