I remember where I was when I read Chewbacca's death way back in 1999, when I had Vector Prime in hardback. I used to hate spoilers on principle and actually gave up on the outstanding Amtrak Wars series by Patrick Tilley when I discovered what was going to happen at the end of the final book. Thankfully I've mellowed with age and have vowed to finish the series, which is as excellent as I remember. Another great video!
Muted after the GoT section 😅 but great 👍🏻 video as always! I was an idiot when I was younger & didn’t care if I got spoiled on stuff regarding entertainment media. Much better about it now though. Keep it up! 👍🏻.
Man, I remember the Chewie spoiler like it was yesterday. I was pretty heavy into Star Wars news at the time because I was a co-webmaster for one of the top fan-sites at the time and we were seeing all sorts of spoiler news for the prequels as well. I feel like even if I wasn't that deep into it I would have heard about it. I very much appreciate the Cosmere's approach to maintaining records as well and appreciate the sensitivity to potential spoilers.
Still reading The Stand and have the first Wheel of Time book 📕 ready to read after that. Spoilers don’t hinder me from reading a book at all. That’s something I’ve always noticed, for me it does not impact me from reading a book I intend to read because I still am able to enjoy the journey of reading the book.

Moral of the story: No more pod casts 😂
