This video is why I let my buddy that works for Polaris talk me into a 2020 Indy xc 850 137 sc sp as a demo with 163 miles. All the bells and whistles for $10400
I shared a 2020 Indy XC137 850 with a friend for a day and we each put 80 miles on it. Incredible machine. Luke is absolutely right in his assessment of it. It totally exceeds any trail machine being offered by Ski Doo or Cat for 2020. My friend even ordered one for this winter.
Hope all is well I talk with you guys at the novia snow show , just wanted to give you some feed back I have just under 700 miles on my new 2020 xc 137 850 ,WOW what a sled best choice I have ever made when byeing a new sled hands down this thing rocks , and yes this is the best frontend it go's were you put it come in to a corner little to fast just turn and it will hold its line even when the corner has 2' rollers handling is A-1 and the rear-end takes anything , no back slam here. I started out on everything soft then after 200 miles I could tell everything was getting broke- in so went to medium on springs and 3- clicks on all shocks after another 300 miles I went to 5 clicks on all shocks and this thing still rides A-1 in studier's , and hit a sucker bump at speeds around 70 mph it will suck it up as if it was not there , 1 to 2 foot rollers run 50 to 60 mph it will glide over the top and still have good control , stays flat and straight , this sled has made me a better rider , and the motor well I cant say enough it runs like no other, the clutching is smooth as butter on take off and the best set up for trail rideing I have ever had in 30 years no kits need here , and wow the stock skis are even the best I ever had , also got back from first ride of about 350 miles got sled in shop to check everything and blow out clutches there was 0 belt dust now after almost 700 miles still no belt dust , that's on- heard of what a great set up so I can say after a 30 run on Yamaha and jumping over to Polaris for me and trail riding its the best thing I have ever done this thing is a joy to ride you were spot on with all you reviews on this sled , so good job on your reviews !!!! P,S Thanks for your in put on the FXR heated gloves as well at the show problem with fingers hurting is gone well money spent all the way around! All you guys over there at Snow Trax have a safe winter and a Merry Christmas !!
I hope its a good one we have road Yamaha for over 30 years and we sold two 17 sidewinders and a 19 sidewinder and jump over to Polaris and got three 850 two xc 137 and a Assault ' 144 850 looking forward to this winter hope all three sled are as good as the reviews !!
Listen dude I love the sound of your voice I could listen you talk all day if you would only start the goddam sled and let us hear it every once in a while.....
Another great quick review. Getting pumped for winter! Do you think the 137” is a better ride than the 128” xcr? You said that was the best riding skid for your riding style. Hoping I didn’t make a mistake on the xcr.
Ian Kristman I’d imagine the xcr will be better for very aggressive trail ridding and pounding bumps. But that’s a guess on my part. Hopefully it’s not overly stiff?
Im hoping thats the case, my worry is the shorter track compliance in the trail, and traction. Im a heavy guy so stiff is no issue here, im hoping its not too soft still even after xcr beefed up from last years super soft xc.
@@eatyouforbreakfast5 I also had a hard time between the xcr 128 and the indy 137. went with the 128 thoe think its going to be an awesome sled, only time will tell.
Hey y’all, so I’m in the fence and I can’t decide. I’ve tried to watch every single video y’all got based on the Polaris switchback assault 144 vs the the Indy 137 vs switchback pro s vs pro s. I cannot for the life of me figure out which one would suit better. I’m a bigger guy (240) want something that will handle great, but withstand big bumps/ jumps. May take off the trail a few times but not much. Please comment and give me yalls opinion
I went with the Assault last year, and it's everything and more that I could want. I enjoy going off trail quite a bit as I'm bombing along and it does this nicely. Power is amazing, handling is amazing, and it's so much fun to be able to just go off the trail for awhile. I decided against the XC as It's more of a dedicated trail sled in my opinion, and that's not what I was looking for. Next year I'm eyeing an SKS or may even switch styles and try a Khaos.

xc 129 is one great trail sled, i have both 600 & 850, set the springs for my weight 6" of carbide sleds turn at any speed. maybe this season i'll play with shock settings but the way it was set by dealer it was a great riding either sled
Great input. Now I just have to wait for mine to show up!

Great review thanks. If you could only have one sled, what are your thoughts on this XC-137 over the 144 Assault?
I'm undecided between these two as well i hope they respond

It sounds the same as every other sled with a stock muffler
Was hoping to hear about the top end power. I know it's been discussed that it is improved from last year, but was looking for more confirmation.
Scott Placella I have heard that if you are up to date with ecu flashes that HP is around 170 or 171.

Exact same thought, would have been nice to see this before snow check was done, also used his XCR review to decide.

is the switchback assault 144 noticeably more tippy than the 137?
I know this doesnt answer your question but I've got a 2020 assault and Its marginally more tippy than my 2015 indy
Do you find that it rides better than the Rush ?
i thought you posted your 850 blew up last season
8 months ago you posted your 850 blew up was that fake news

Why would ski-doo give up R-motion suspension, to polaris?
Did you check Skidoo's C-Motion... It's the exact same thing as the Assault's IGX 144 skid!
@@fxnytroxtxFPP Did you actually compare the both of them? I have an Assault and it looks exactly the same as the C-motion.

great but can we have a video of a RENEGADE X 850 for compare both of them cause we all know that you prefer POLARIS than SKI DOO
streetfire1 he said earlier in the year, that they will have a comparison test this winter.
