Did you get a chance to try out a assault or backcountry? If so id be interested to hear your thoughts on them and if they would be ok for riding in the nek. Also out of all the sleds which one impressed you the most?
sdm07120 So I did try out a ski doo backcountry x a Polaris assault 850 and 800 and the arctic cat riot 8000. My personal preference out of those machines was the Polaris assault 850. That was a amazingly fun machine and I think it will be my next purchase. I think it will be a good machine for up here in the nek. The one “bad” thing about the machine if I had to say anything would be there is quite a bit of ski lift when you come into corners fast, it just makes you lean more. The backcountry was a good machine just personally not my favorite, I wished they would of had the backcountry XRS for me to try but they didn’t. The etec 850 was a very impressive motor though!
Very cool. I was going to snowcheck and was leaning assault but since they came out with the new matryx chassis im gonna give it one more year to see what people think of it and hope for some better color options next year as well. Thanks for the content!
Was this a dealership sponsored test ride? At the beginning I seen that you passed a whole line of Cats, I'm guessing that was part of the dealership test ride too if that is the case :-)
papa Wattz yes this was in Stewartstown NH they call the event go north snow fest. They had Polaris / arctic cat / ski doo there for $10 you could demo as many as you’d like
The Pidd gauge is now 7 years old which is crazy to think. The new 7s display is crazy because of how good it is compared to the Pidd.
