One thing I find interesting about this game is how the player themselves are portrayed. There are two occasions where they're depicted as a lanky, almost imposing, silhouette (one of the endings and one of the animated cutscenes).
For me, I think games like this are best played being nice to the character, and not bother with seeing the bad endings. I mean, I get the curiosity. I can be that curious too. But... sometimes... it hurts to see those bad endings. I'm not criticizing Manly or anything though. He _should_ be a completionist. It's one of his big draws! I think the last ending is just, the virus' trust was broken, and he hates humans by that point.
