  • Water shapes our landscapes and makes our world unique. Only water can be found on earth in three states of aggregation - gaseous, liquid and solid. This is what makes the molecule so fascinating.
No other substance has been so studied and yet still holds so many questions as water. Scientist try to unlock the secrets of Water. 70% of the earth's surface is covered by liquid water.
The documentary gives us insights into the fascinating landscapes created by water: Underwater worlds, interesting ice worlds and unknown caves. But it also shows us the importance of water for the forest ecosystem and for us as living beings.

Born in 1960 at begining of July, my mother brought me to the beach (nantasket) Hull, Mass. she said I'd fight and squirm to get into the kinda cold Atlantic, I'm a fish since birth, literally, the ocean is my happy place, but it's deeper than just acclamation, I feel in my soul a connection. Fresh water, salt water, it's the miraculous life blood of our existence.

Your work earns the deepest respect I've ever felt for scientists.
After the danger of polar bears had passed, I thought we were in for some tedious but safe ice core collecting. But watching your long descent, then the exploration of the bottom of the glacier, just a meter or less above the bedrock in a few spots, had me holding my breath, closing my eyes and reaching for my cell phone to call emergency rescue here in San Francisco.

@Seek The Truth Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites ON BALANCE. Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. Great.
GRAVITY AND TWO DIMENSIONAL SPACE ARE CONSISTENT WITH E=MC2:
E=MC2 is taken directly from F=ma. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. The TRANSLUCENT blue sky is manifest as (or consistent with/as) what is BALANCED BODILY/VISUAL EXPERIENCE. Accordingly, ON BALANCE, the TRANSLUCENT blue sky is true/real QUANTUM GRAVITY. THINK!!! ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Accordingly, ON BALANCE, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. Importantly, what is gravity cannot be shielded (or blocked) ON BALANCE. Great. You didn't forget to consider what is the orange AND setting Sun ON BALANCE, did you!!? Magnificent. I have FUNDAMENTALLY and truly revolutionized physics. (Lava is orange, AND it is even blood red.) GREAT !!!! Obviously, carefully and CLEARLY consider what is THE EYE ON BALANCE, as it ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense ON BALANCE. (BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand.). Fantastic !!!

WHAT IS E=MC2 is CLEARLY consistent with the fourth dimension in/of/AS SPACE, AS the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky; AS the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity ON/IN BALANCE; AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE !! INDEED, consider WHAT IS THE EYE ON BALANCE; AS c squared CLEARLY (AND NECESSARILY) represents a dimension of SPACE ON BALANCE !! Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE !!!! Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites (ON BALANCE), AS the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. I have CLEARLY proven and explained what is the fourth dimension. Magnificent.

They are deviating people from the truth whilst doing research and showing people what they have discovered which is very small knowledge of what God has created. God has sent messengers through out history telling us what our purpose of life is. The scientist were wicked and took God out and called it nature. They also fooled humans into thinking everything is self created. Nothing has ever been self created. Everything is cause and effect. Check the fine tuning universe theory

      One 100% correctly said
The sceinitist ,researchers,NASA..all countries sceinitist are against to humanity since Long back🤦😠😥😭
Instead of research on space, under water, inside earth..why didnt know about HEALTH issues both mental and physical for Long life.
      peaceful life,
      Love life,
      Healthy life
      Healthy food.
So many basically need's for our own species
Technology, sceinitist, research are for destroyed 50 to 80% already in this planet by
      Medicine......side effects....and die
      Weapons on ground
Weapons on Water and under water
      Weapon's on space..
      To destroy our own species🤦😠😥😭
So let us research on long life with out deceases..or medicine with out side effects
One political world with out boundaries
      Earth with out pollution
How to live simple and peaceful
      Socialism.
So whatever money is using for above research is human hardly earned and paid tax 😠
Why can't use for humanitarian purposes🙏😥😭😭😭

Thank you for this opportunity for education! All throughout this video I wanted to stop and share. I and many others were never disappointed! I understand why so many comments pertain to the glaciers; being the last and perhaps most spectacular of the segments. Certainly those researchers didn’t suffer from claustrophobia; not with 200 meters (650 ft) of glacier above their crawl space!
However, I found myself drawn to your ocean research and the amazing activities covered by the research teams; sent me back 45 years to whale watch trips along the Baha coast and San Ignacio Lagoon [foregive me; those were the days!] The free driver accompanying the humpback whales was a truly serene experience. Perhaps one day they’ll be using electric motors in-place of ICE motors while pursuing sea mammals; being conscious about sound.
Thank you again for such wonderful educational experiences! It gives me hope and joy to share your work with others!

    I am Water
I am water and you know me as H two and Oh, or for short H2O!
I come and I go as I water the Earth, I leave my H in plants and in the trees and give you the Oh so you feel the breeze!
Without O, you know me as H and I can be explosive, but double me with 1 x O and I can flood you and kill you! Without me you will go thirsty along with all plants - you will sojourn to the ends of the Earth to find me and you know from days of old, I am far more precious than Gold!
I preside over the surface of the Earth - and predominantly cover 71% of it’s girth.
I run like the wind and run like a river, but I float in the air where I can make you shiver. When I am as solid as ice, it can be very nice, but you can freeze when I bring you to your knees!
You see me as Jack Frost in winter as I nip at your nose but in summer I am lost as you warm your toes!
Watch out when I am as angry as a Tornado, or a hurricane, because I know for sure, you will not invite me again!
Wherever you go, I am sometimes as snow, or boulders of ice while I fall from the skies as I hear all the scared people and their terrified cries! I tear down your crops and I maim your trees, but caress you gently when I turn in the breeze! Surely you have seen, how I can make your grass green?
I can give you life and I can take it away, so be careful with what you say, for you drink me in, breathe me in and clean everything with me.
You walk on me, float on me, soak in me, dive in me, sail or swim in me and pollute me, yet still you enjoy me. You toil to boil me for your coffee and tea and drink me again, but when you are full you must let me go free!
Yet I am in you and about you - normally near, but sometimes far, always around you in your stores, in your sky, in your lakes, rivers and oceans. Your wine and drink are nothing without me! Your taps, bottles and boats are useless without me. Make sure you consider the value of me!
I can fog your ideas and not let you see, or de mist your vision when you want rid of me!
Let us be clear, everyone will fail because I am long lost and not even near!
I can keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. I am the sweat on your brow as you play out your sport and keep your tongue moist if your speech is kept short.
I am you, at least 70% or more! At times you cannot live with me, but most assuredly you cannot live without me, so respect me and treat me well.
You can get too much of me and not enough, but in just the right amount I am perfect for your life, indeed I am your unseen wife!
I am your daily servant and your daily master!
I am H20, so don’t you know - you should go with the flow?

46.10 on surface level I've never come across ice crystals with 6 perfect angles and a pyramid on top....these are amazing and definitely more beautiful than any polished human made gem. 49.06 again...I'm not a natural scientist. Please explain, if someone knows...why. I get that the ice/glacier moving across coarse bedrock is hard/slow but wouldn't the water have to fill the "tunnel" all the way up the ice to facilitate it sliding...I mean if it is only 1/2 it (in my view) wouldn't do the "trick"? Or is it either full or is it assisted by moisture off the tunnel being 1/2 full too? Glad if someone can give me a reply. Learning a lot simultaneously as it leaves me with a lot of questions. Again thank you for all this new knowledge👏

Thank you for this video. I have a couple of questions: 🤔 Please?
Do rain clouds gather around bundles of particulate matter (that doesn’t belong in the atmosphere)?
Does the movement of plants help to transport and pull rain clouds and particulate matter from the natural convection system in the atmosphere?

      yes

Re: particulates, I remember being taught in geo 101 that water vapor bonds to particulate matter in the air and attracts more h2o molecules to eventually form raindrops. Kinda takes the poetic nuances of rain away from poems, lovesongs, novels, that forms in our imagination, but I suppose offers another level of appreciation of water as rain.

@@trebledog It beggars further information such as, does the elemental composition or crystalline structure of certain particulate matter affect the structure of rain? Does the presence of smooth or coarsely textured particulates alter the process?

This documentary is superb. Everyone who wants civilization to make maximum progress in restoring our carbon, nitrogen and oxygen cycles during this SDG2030 decade should be putting stewardship at the top of the priority list w/ #SDG6 #SDG12 and #SDG15. If we are to have the capacity to really deal with protection of our coastal areas we will have to establish continental water management and rehydrate our continents by vastly upgrading constructed wetlands.

Suggestion: plant Bay Leaf trees to purify water and keep fish happier. Laurus Nobilis (bay leaf) will cell cycle arrest germs, starting in about 10 minutes, as long as, the brittle pieces exist! I think, germs can precipatate out fairly quickly, like a few days.

If water really came from meteorites ...we can bombard our Moon with meteorites with water molecules sufficiently and wait for similar development to make it habitable in distant future.

If life originated "in the oceans"I guess we need to go back into the oceans to find answers for the confusion, hate, greed, war that exist within the society of oceanic origins. If life and order comes from the ocean then the ocean should have an answer for disorder.
